Nice Design

The only problem we have had is the washer shakes real hard at the beginning of the wash cycle. Our previous washer did the same thing only worse. It was a different brand. Looks to me like someone would have solved this problem with the front loading machines by now!

Does a great job

We replaced a 10+ year old front loader with this unit. It is so much more effective at cleaning. I run everything from normal clothes through really dirty auto shop towels and everything comes out clean. The old front loader was marginal on the shop towels.

Just installed new GE front loading washer. It is a BIG MACHINE compared to the washer it replaces. This is partly because of the built in pedestal base, but that base raises the access door to a more comfortable height for my wife to use. Washer is quiet and seems to do a good job. Control panel is attractive and user-friendly. We had great success with GE washer a few years ago, now we're glad to be back to the brand.

I love the washer. It is the perfect height for me. The clothes are clean and it does a very good job of removing excess water so they dry quickly.
