Had to have entire internal components replaced due to bad bearing at less than 1 year old, with nothing but normal clothing loads for a house of 2 adults 1 child. Starting to get loud spin cycles again, less than 6 months after that repair. Good thing the first was under GE warranty & glad I purchased the store extended warranty. Stinks unless you leave the door cracked. Would not purchase a front loader washer ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans really well and absolutely love the "Basket Clean" setting, so you can clean before you get a nasty smell in the tub.
