Love It!!!!

This washer is easy to use and I love the many features and options for washing clothes. My favorite feature is the delay wash. I can put clothes in the washer and set the delay wash, leave the house and return when the clothes are finished. I also love the energy efficient wash as well. Great washer and the Add Steam works great also.

I bought the washer and dryer set a couple of months ago and love them! The washer is chock full of washing features from small loads to bulky items. I can wash delicates, bulky king bedding and everything in between. It is easy to figure out (I didn't read the directions) and uses just the right amount of water (we are on a cistern). It also uses almost no soap but the clothes come out super clean. Whites are really whites. The only down side is they have a larger then normal laundry room foot print. If size is not an issue go for it!

Easy to use but issues

The washer is easy to use but spins way too long. This is my second front loader. The final spin cycle, even on permanent press, is 15 minutes. Nothing needs to spin that long. It sets the wrinkles. The washer is also programed to rinse your towels one more time after the fabric softener has been added rinsing out all the softener. I can't even do a rinse and spin and add it since the water doesn't go through that area. My towels now come out rough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband bought this and I do love how this product works. It's really perfect the size, the features, quality, the color and how it works. I am so happy that this washer has Bulky Bedding which this is really what I needed. It so quite and fast, we love GE products.

Enjoying the features and no problems

Bought back in Jan 2015 to replace a different brand front loader that never seemed (to me) to get clothes clean and had to be taken almost completely apart to clean the filter (do not wash rubber backed rugs on heavy duty cycle!). This one was perfect for my space, as I have a concrete ledge in my garage and the built in pedestal made it the perfect height. Still wish the clothes smelled more "clean" like they did in the old top loaders, but other than that have had no problems and I am enjoying the features I thought I would never use (steam, pre-wash, add garment). My must haves were hand wash and double rinse, plus this one has many other cycles, including allergen. I don't mind the long wash cycles since I only have time to do laundry on the weekends anyway, but if you are in a bind there is a quick wash which I have use a few times on weeknights right before bed. Since mine is in the garage I can keep the door slightly ajar (not too much or there will be a cat in it!) so have only had to run the drum clean cycle a few times. The machine cleaner smell lasts a long time too. And if I recall from my initial research correctly, the price point was excellent for the features (steam, pedestal, etc).
