Takes Too Long

These front-load washers do not clean as good as the top-load washers, plus they take too long for a single load. I'd rather have my old washer back!

No drain and spin

Unless it’s me, this model doesn’t have an option to drain and spin. Consequently, I have not figures out how to wash a rug and get all the water out of it or spin the remaining water out of it.

Thought I would love this but disappointed.

I have had this washer for a few months. I have been very disappointed in how it cleans. Also a big disappointment is the amount of water left when cycle is complete for rugs and bedding. No cycle canbe added to get rid of the excess water!!!

Regarding the cleaning performance, please be sure to follow detergent recommendations as well as loading instructions on page 13 of the manual above.

Not the best

Have had washer for 3 mos. As was stated in earlier posts on the washer, it doesn't use enough water to wash the load properly. Sometimes I have to wash the clothes a second time to get all the soap out (and that includes using the ext rinse setting). The water control valves are very harsh (no soft open or close) so you might get a banging in your supply lines when the valves slam shut. The initial "LOAD SENSING" is a waste of time and energy. The lint clean out at the bottom of the washer makes a tremendous mess (wasn't anything in there anyway) and can be difficult to reseal. The spin cycle starts out very noisy with the drum banging around until it finds its happy place (5-8 secs) but quiets right down and is virtually silent afterwards. Would like to have a louder chime letting me know wash cycle is complete.

Washer issue's

We've made it one year and our washer has been not so good. It's leaked and the water pump went out right before my warranty was about to expire. I make sure I only use GE washer product's and clean it once a month like specified to do so it shouldn't of kaput on me. Luckly I was able to fix the issue since the service man sent out sucked at his job and said my washer was fine when it wasn't. Thank god he didn't work for GE but was referred to us by GE none the less. This is my only complaint about the washer.

Bought this machine based on reviews. Have gone through two machines already this machine will not balance, drum bounces like a basketball!

Not a very good washing machine.Dont like it.Had to have GE come out 4 different times to fix it.The mashine was completely taken apart the 4th time

Wont end Spin Cycle

We've had our washer for about 2 years. Recently it started cycling through one spin cycle after another, continues for up to an hour of spin cycles and only stops if we interrupt it manually.
