Great Machine

I bought this about three months ago and with twin boys, the washer goes almost constantly. This washer holds more than my old one and love that it is up on a block so that I am not bending over to take stuff out of the washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use with great features and controls! Extra large capacity gets the loads done quicker while using less water. We love this unit and didn't even think it was working because it is so quiet!

One concern noted after one week

So far, unit functions properly. Spin cycle is vibration free and very quiet. Here is my concern: The rotary select knob binds slightly...you can feel a resistance as you click through the settings. Knob also makes a scrunching noise as you click through the settings. The detents as you click are not as distinct as they should be. This is in contrast to the excellent smoothness and distinct, quiet clicking of the knob on our matching GFDR270GH1WW gas dryer. I plan to call GE customer service regarding the knob concern before it gets to the point of breakage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
