This is my first front-loader washer. Yes, it uses a lot less water and with all the cycle and speciality selections this washer offers, I couldn't be more pleased with how clean my clothes are. I would say that only having this for 4 months I was surprised to have the washer "start to smell". It is difficult to keep the drawer open to let it dry as it is located in a heavily-traffic area. I regularly go through the clean cycle and put in the Tide washer clean which seems to help. Cleaning inside the rubber portion is a little difficult. I also am just now getting used to how long it is for a normal cycle (approx. 1.5 hrs) which changes the length of time I do laundry. The good thing is that the clothes are very dry when they come out so the dryer cycle is shorter. Overall, I am pleased with the flexibility this offers that my other machines did not have.

I have had this about 6 months and am quite happy. The things I like most are that I feel my clothes are finally getting clean, it holds a lot so I do less loads, and I enjoy the riser so I bend less .I really enjoy that I didn't have to pay extra for the riser like other brands. It is gentle on my clothes yet it seems to get out stains. We mostly have a lot of workout clothes but it did an excellent job on a large tablecloth and napkins that were pretty stained. It is loud but I read that in the reviews and it doesn't bother me where we have ours. The only two things I don't like about it are that it takes a long time for each load and because of the larger size, I now have a hard time reaching the cabinets above it. I do follow the directions and clean it once a month to keep the odor away and I always leave the door open when not in use. .I use very little HE detergent when I wash and am still amazed at all the suds there are on the cleaning. I haven't had a problem with any odor. Before this I had a brand that I just hated and always felt my clothes were not clean after washing and prior to that I had another brand that had tons of repair problems. For the money, I felt this was the best and the salesman at Lowes highly recommended it. My appliance repairman told me to stay away from certain brands due to problems obtaining parts. Oh, I had read in one review that the person was upset about the water that collects in the dispenser. It does happen but it can easily be emptied and it doesn't bother me. So far so good!.

Purchased this washer along with matching dryer and could not be much happier with the choice my wife and I made. Overwhelmed with all the features and how quiet they are when running. Highly recommend them both!!!
