WORST WASHER EVER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS IS THE WORST WASHER I HAVE EVER HAD. I HAVE BEEN BUYING GE WASHERS, HOTPOINT FOR OVER 30 YEARS. MY LAST GE WASHER LASTED FOR 25 YEARS. I HAVE HAD SERVICE 3 TIMES. THE LAST SERVICE THE MOTOR WAS REPLACED. WE WILL SEE HOW LONG IT LASTS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Touchy - But Does A very good Job Owned one since forever

The grooves on the stainless steel tub, get a lot of the stains off my jeans.
Better than a front loader.
The dryer does not leave my pockets wet.

Most of the dryers I've used leave wet pockets.
Haven't had problems with these machines.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible Machine - Someone should file suite on GE

Machine 5 years old - nothing but trouble. I've replaced parts and give up - now the mode shifter is bad...... They don't make this any more and I know why.

Washer has been repaired once before stopped washing. Now 4 months later the clothe do not come out clean they are just swished with not power > Looks and smell like the clothes were just dampened and later dried days later musty smell. Waiting for repairman now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good washer.

Have this washer for about 15 years, starting to give problems, agitator, control board but still washes, time for a new washer soon as I don't want to spend money on repairs. Would like to have a washer for life but we don't live in that kind of world. If I can get 15 years from a new washer I'd be happy.
