Old technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit from a local appliance dealer. I like how you can access the water lines through the front of the unit by removing a cover. However, the technology on this washer/dryer combo is ancient. The door doesn't lock during the washing cycle; when you pull the know to start the wash, it pulls off of the stem. There is no input for bleach or water softener. The capacity of both the washer and the dryer are far less than the General Electric combo we just replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for small space

I love my new washer & dryer. It's perfect for my master bedroom closet. I would definitely recommend this product. It is not very big if you have large family though. It's also quiet which is great because it's in our closet.

I ordered this on line because I couldn't find a store that carried one so I could look at it. Very disappointed. The spin cycle on the washer doesn't spin the clothes very good. I can ring water out of the clothes I take out of the washer. I don't put a lot of items in the washer because it is small. The washer fills from some place on the sides of the tub and I have to push my clothes down to get them submerged in water. The best thing I can say about this is that it works.

I think this replaced the 4027 model

This is the 3rd review I am writing - the other 2 are not here.If this is the machine that fills the water from the bottom, forget it. It DOES NOT wash soap out of the laundry. Even with 2 extra rinses my laundry never felt clean. Thankfully the store I purchased it from took it back.

Great Combo System

I needed to replace my 15-year-old combo system and my appliance repairman recommended Whirlpool. I am so happy he did. I love my new appliance, especially the dryer. No more damp clothes that require a second dry cycle. The only reason I did not give this five stars is that the washer could be a bit quieter, but that isn't a showstopper.
