Great compact washer/dryer

I bought this unit two months ago and while a bit smaller than your standard washer/dryer, it's very efficient and the dryer works pretty quickly.

I miss my old washer!

After waiting about five or six weeks for this stacked washer-dryer to arrive, I found that it did not fill with warm water at all on the warm wash setting. A valve had to be replaced. In my opinion, Whirlpool went a bit too far in adjusting the wash water temperature settings to become "eco friendly." One other small thing that would make a nice improvement would be to extend the line on the dial so it's easier to see. Making it black or red would also help.Also, the dryer door was very difficult for me to open. I realize that I don't have as much upper body strength as many people do, but nevertheless, it was extremely tight. It's easier to open now that I had my son modify the catch a bit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice combo unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came new with a renovated condo I recently purchased.It has simple controls ( which I like) yet has all the necessary wash and dry options.Although small and compact it does more clothes than you would think.Also does blankets and small rugs with out a problem.
