So disappointed with this product

We owned a manual Whirlpool, it was 20 something years. A month ago the dryer stopped working. We decided to get a new one and we bought the same brand because the quality of the old one. We got the first unit 2 weeks after and the washer machine didn't work. When taking water with the sensor mode the machine will take water, then stop and start draining again. The washer never changed to the next mode. Call the vendor to report the problem and they send someone to service the problem. They said that the computer was bad that we will get a replacement. Four days later we got the "new" one. Guess what the second one has the same problem. We are so disappointed with the product because the only thing we got from it is big headache

The best value machine in the market

My experience with Whirlpool appliances, in terms of value and reliability, has always been very good, for decades. This washer dryer combo, with new features like; washer water level sensors and dryer humidity sensors, makes it a highly efficient machine. It consumes less water and energy than any of it’s predecessors. It’s noise level is pretty low and acceptable. Overall, I am very happy.

Better Than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently moved to a condo and had to downsize including washer and dryer. My last 2 washers were HE, thus no agitator and I was elated to get back to a unit with an agitator. Somehow I feel clothes are cleaner when they are agitated. The washer holds more than I expected. Did laundry yesterday... one load was 6 pairs of velour sweat pants, and the other was 11 long sleeve tops, to give you some idea of load size. It takes about 40 minutes on timed cycle to dry each load. The lint filter is in the rear wall of the dryer. I am 5'4" and have no difficulty reaching it. My only complaint is the handle on the dryer door is very small and difficult to open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used it a couple times but seems decent. My clothes don’t appear as clean as I am used to.

Great Washer! Slow Drying Time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washing machine is simple, basic and washes really big loads. It does a really good job cleaning laundry. The dryer however does not dry my laundry like I would like. Given that it maybe an issue with my dryer vent...sometimes I need to run the dryer two or three times to get things completely dry so I only put in small amounts of laundry in at a time.

This washer and dryer is THE WORST
on February 25, 2020

I have never in my life had such issues with a washer and dryer. Like never. This washer and dryer is so small and does the absolute worst job washing and rinsing clothes. I have used all of the different wash settings appropriate for the load I am washing. I use the correct amount of detergent. I only use 1 single tide pod(he turbo) for all my loads. Using liquid detergent in this washer can sometimes be a nightmare because since this washer is 3.5 cubic ft. You have to use half the amount normally measured. And your clothes still have excess soap. So that’s why I started using pods. And still I’m always having to do multiple extra rinses because there are still suds in the water. It is so freaking aggravating. I used to be able to get all my laundry done over a weekend. With my other normal washer and dryer at my old apartment. Now I’m on this never ending cycle of doing laundry everyday trying to play catch-up. Because instead of doing loads of laundry back to back. I’m rinsing the same load of laundry 5000 times in a row because there are still soap suds. God I just want my freaking life back. I HATE THIS WASHER AND DRYER COMBO! DO NOT BUY IT!

This washer and dryer are so terrible they should just recall it. who puts controls on top of combo washer and dryer, who still use actuator and ruin clothes, the control buttons are super flimsy like child toys, the product is a complete failure.

You need to be tall

I am 5' 3" and too short for this unit. Be sure you are tall enough for this laundry center. The basket is pretty deep so I have to stand on my tiptoes to get to the bottom and remove clothes, and also have to be very careful standing back up so that I do not hit my head on the sort of sharp edges of the lid/closing mechanism. The dryer door is relativeely small and there is a high lip to get into the dryer, again a bit of tiptoe standing to be sure everything has been removed. The controls, of course, are on top of the unit. I wasn't able to actually see the unit in person when it was ordered.. definitely not a good plan and not recommended. Carefully make sure you can use your unit in the ways you want to before buying. The best thing so far about this laundry center is that the dryer is quiet.
