Great at First ...

This was a great and very expensive TV at first ... but now it’s garbage. A lot of the basic APP/ Streaming services are gone.Support for YouTube and Hulu are gone.. 3D world.. gone.. all that is left is Netflix .. complete Garbage. Hey LG... how about I sell this TV back to me for a few hundred dollars credit?

Exceptional 3D TV. Quality of the components are far superior to alot of other tv's . From out of the well packaged box the tv stand was easy to install and directions were easy to follow. The inital setup took a short time to complete and you were reward with a beautiful picture. Let me add that we are using cable tv. We have owned this tv now for over 2 months and are very satisfied as I believe you will be if you decide to invest in this model.

In this review I am going to mention some of the things I like and the things I didn't like and why?
Overall I give this TV 3.5 stars. It is a good TV but there is still room for improvements.
Pro:
-nice picture
-useful apps vudu was recently added on the last update- this November which was something it was missing
- voice command - works good
- nice design
- 3d
cons:
- blurry images when it is a fast pace but playing with settings I was able to reduce this effect.
-remote control battery only last about 2 months- don't use TV a lot. Another problem with the remote is that it doesn't light up so it is hard to see buttons in the dark.
- speaker are what makes the TV and sad to say that the sound isn't that good. My old TV which is a cheap brand and smaller has much better sound than this LG TV.
- apps setting don't configure to the settings your set for your TV and no real way to change apps setting.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you thinking of buying a 3d TV don't hesitate to buy this one, The 3D is awesome the menu system is easy to learn and just a great TV.

Overall I am very much satisfied.
Except one thing that Skype / any Video chat applications are not compatible on this model.
Hoping LG should upgrade the features, similar to what you get on SMART TV's.

My "Smart" TV is Evaporating

A great TV when new but much to our disappointment, smart features evaporate. 3D stopped, Streaming ended with youtube months ago, now Netflix no longer works. The TV is fine but LG's unwillingness to allow software to keep up obsoletes a perfectly good smart TV. I have to by a new one and after buying multiple LG products, it's my last one. It's functionality is LG... Long Gone...

Although the app is not available for your TV, there are other options that will allow you stream on your LG TV. Apps can be streamed on LG compatible devices such as Roku, Xbox One, iPhones, etc.

Short lifespan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I bought my tv in 2013 so it is not new. You would think that when releasing technology there would be some avenue to update the operating system however that is not the case with such purchase. The apps are very much outdated which causes them to crash as well as having a poor resolution. In addition to this, the led lights are pretty much gone so there are black lines appearing across the screen and upon powering up, the tv blanks off and only audio plays. It must be noted that this has been occurring for 2 years which has caused me to be in search of a new one. I don't think I would be patronizing in your brand in the future.
