Fast and painless shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Braum to test it out. Wow was I impress. Fast and easy shaving. No mess, no bumps, no cuts. My skin is very sensitive and I was scare at first, but love it now. Now I shave everyday. Thanks Braum, this is the best shaver on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i think that Braun Series 3-3040 needs alot of improvement. i didnt get a close shave, even after going over it several times i still had stubble. i didnt try to wet yet due to the fact alot of reviews say it cuts you if u do it wet. i'll try it but im scared right now to do so. i believe that it left you with a clean shave that this razor would be great. its easy to clean. easy to charge. holds a charge really good. isnt to heavy or anything. i gave it 1 star because it just doesnt shave like it should.

Great Foil Razor

It's honestly the best electric razor I've used so far. I don't have super thick facial hair yet like I'm sure most of the people trying this product have, so maybe that's why it works much better for me. I've had no problems getting a nice, close shave with this. One of my favorite aspects of it is the precision trimmer on the back. That's really good to use when trying to trim up and even out my side burns.I also really love that I can do it as a wet shave too, because I like to wet and soften the hairs usually before shaving since my skin is so sensitive.

good for first 2 years

nice shaver, but after 2 years battery almost died. Now must charge before every shave. 2-3 hours of charging = 10 minuter of shaving :(

good luck finding a replacement cutter

Braun has decided to call several of their shavers "series 3," but they take different blades and none are labeled so you can figure out which one matches your shaver. Even on their website, if I go to my particular shaver, click on "maintenance," up comes every replacement blade they make of which several are marked series 3. Type the exact model in their search feature and it doesn't recognize the model. Who is running this company?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The handle fits snug in your hand either in the shower where I did not have a problem gripping it wet. The motor is powerful and the battery is long lasting.This was my 1st time ever using an electric shaver.So being inexperienced it took me about 20 min in the shower, using shaving cream to shave my 3 day old beard. It takes a lot longer than using a regular razor. I don't mind the extra time shaving because I really enjoy using this Braun Series 3-3040. The shaver is lightweight and comfortable in your hand. When hitting my chin and nose area, the shaver responded with ease and not one hair was pulled thanks to their Triple Action FreeFloat System.The model was designed for use in the shower, so as expected, it excels when used for wet shaving. Guys who shave daily will have no trouble maintaining smooth skin with this razor. Those who shave a day here and there can also get good results with the razor, but one should expect a lengthier process.My 3 day beard to multiple passed across the thicker parts of my beard. All in all this works pretty good and I have put down my disposable razor for good for this shaver. As time goes by and my experience and speed will pick up , I'm sure I will get my shaves down to under 5 minutes. Thank You Braun for the FREE Shaver

Best updated versatile razor to date

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Braun to review. Right from opening up the package, I liked the way the razor looked. I'm a fan of lighter, bolder colors, so this turquoise razor was very nice. I'm an "on-the-go" person, so being able to shave at the sink, dry or even in the shower was very versatile. I've used braun products before and was currently using a 4 year old razor and was replacing the heads and shaving coils each year. I noticed I had to go over and over trouble spots, especially my neck to shave. The 3040 series definitely is cutting back on how many times I needed to go over the same area. I've only used this for a few days, and will update if I notice any changes. Very good product.

Sad disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to have received this shaver from Braun. I am a busy individual who is always looking to save time in the morning. I also have very sensative skin. Braun is a brand with a strong reputation for innovative products and my expectations were sadly not met with this product. The shaver does not provide a close consistent shave. It does not cut the hair consistently, forcing me to go over the same spot several times which causes major irritation. I have a 10+ year old Norelco Cool Skin electric shaver in which the blades have never been changed, that produces a closer shave. I ended up cleaning up my face with my old shaver because there were so many stray hairs remaining. The shaver left my face blotchy and red with random patches of hair.
