Works well on two day old beards

I switched from Norelco to Braun and sofar have been happy. The shaver itself seems better made and sofar its giving me a better shave then my old rotary shaver did. It's not an huge improvement but it's a faster shave and it works a little better on my chin and neck. The battery life is also about the same to which is good. I've also noticed that like my old Norelco this Braun works a little better with applying a hot towel on my face and then following up with Shaving cream.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent shave--close, comfortable, smooth. Glides over all shapes of face: chin, neck, upper lip. Overall it just is an excellent product. Just wish this package had a travel bag. Summation: buy it. You can't go wrong.

Summary of my experience after two months of use

Well I've used this machine for two months now and still the same quality at first use but there are some notes to take into account :
1. When shaving dry, your skin must be really dry. If the weather is hot and your skin is darker, it is better to use shaving foam. The results will definitely be better.
2.If you are always shaving their beard, do not let it go too long. The shaving will be a little stressful. In this case, however, you can use the hair trimmer head on the back of the machine to shorten the hair before shave it. The blades are touching the skin and not vertical.
3. Use light oil to lubricate the machine from time to time will maintain its performance
4. Do not use the cleaning brush to clean the razor head (it will damage the razor head) but put it under the running water. Put the head up so that the hair comes out easily. If you are flying a dry shave,

Wow. Wife gave this to me for Christmas. Last time I used an electric razor was 52 years ago. My mom and dad gave me for graduation from high school, I was headed off to college at that time. All that razor did was burn my face. Didn't ever use it again, use a regular razor for the last 52 years.. This Braun is light years ahead of that. Told my wife, if mom and dad had given me one of these, I probably would have never use a regular razor. Thanks Braun for a great razor.

Best shaver I have ever had

After having a Braun Series 5 Activator for the past 10 yrs I didn't think the Series 3 would measure up. But to my surprise this is a better shaver than the Activator. It easily gets the hard to shave areas under my jaw line and chin and neck where my hair goes every which way. It is easy to use and clean and has a very strong motor. I love the push button on/off switch. I hope to operate this shaver for many yrs to come.

I purchased a Braun 340s-4 on sale and so far I have no complaints. I've used it in the shower and dry. I get a closer shave in the shower but either way I'm perfectly satisfied. Not as close as with a blade but pretty close in my opinion.

The best electric razor I've used but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I got this product, I wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting. I wanted to make sure that I got a good close shave since most of the electric ones I've used always left me very prickly. That was my main focus that I wanted. I really wasn't disappointed. It gives a really nice close shave but there's still just something I can't get used to electric razors. It has although been the best one that I have tried. It doesn't pull any hairs, It has two heads which is nice. One for the overall shaving experience and then a thin one for details and getting those sideburns just right. Overall I did like it. Will I continue to use it? I wouldn't say I would use it a lot. probably just for a quick shave but I still prefer my handled manual razors.

Why waste money on a Remington

As a long time Remington user, mine came apart and frankly after getting a Series 3-340s, I wished it had died earlier. What a world apart the Braun and Remington are. Not even close. The Braun is super smooth saving, no irratation and shaves closer than the Remington. Built better, the list goes on and on. For the price, I'll never use another.
