Dependable and Efficient

We bought this dishwasher in April after our builder grade dishwasher went up in smoke...not kidding. It was scary. Anyway, we researched the many options and talked to everyone we knew. We liked the adjustable racks and optional jets that can be targeted to certain items. We also liked the rubber rack feet that keep finer glassware from jiggling around. This machine is roomy as well. I run our dishwasher almost every day so I can say it has done a dependable job and cleans well. There are many cycle choices and I like that they are on top of the door...a nice option for those with little ones. When I was reading reviews, many noted that the drying cycle doesn't always get items dry. I see this occasionally but not always and mostly with plastic and tupperware and I think this is typical. Plastic rarely dries quickly. I do use rinse agent and I think this helps. One thing many friends warned me about with other manufacturers is that a small amount of water remains in the tub at the end of the cycle and will cause a foul odor. This dishwasher runs the pump briefly at the very end of the drying cycle, (I assume for this reason) and my dishwasher never has this odor. We are loving this dishwasher!

This dishwasher is so quiet I never here it running. Features are excellent, Appearance is excellent. Does a very good job of cleaning.

Had this dishwasher installed for about a month now. Lots of detailed design features to securely hold unusual items (e.g., long-stemmed wine glasses) but family pays no attention and throws dishes in everywhere. This is a problem because there's less interior space than our last dishwasher had, perhaps a necessity to make this unit quieter (it is very quiet compared to any other unit I've heard). Door is VERY heavy compared to our old GE model, and is apparently packed with insulation and electronics. The water and energy saving features result in much longer wash cycle times (3+ hours, depending on features activated) than our old dishwasher, so most of our dishwashing takes place overnight now.
Smudge-free stainless finish lives up to its name so far. It's wonderful not to have to constantly rub to remove fingerprints.
It would've been nice if water inlet and outlet were located higher on unit from an anti-backflow perspective, but we got around this by clamping them high up inside cabinet. Most challenging part of installation was scooting the dishwasher under the cabinet with the electrical cable in place underneath. I securely taped it in place; wish Frigidaire had provided some kind of solution (like the way phone lines are secured to the bottom of a base station, for instance). I recommend getting the extra-long drain hose to make installation easier.
The leveling features are mounted in front so you can adjust the heights of both front and back without removing the dishwasher from under the cabinet. This is an OUTSTANDING feature, even though you only have to do it once during installation.
In summary, this dishwasher cleans very well, has an abundance of features (many of which we'll rarely use), is quiet, takes a very long time to wash and looks great.

Super quiet!

I've been using my dishwasher for about a month and am very pleased with it. It is so quiet I had to make sure it was still on! The features on the inside make it very easy to load various sizes items. And of course it looks beautiful.
