Looks nice. Wish it cleaned dishes

I bought this in December to replace a GE Cafe model. It seemed to have nice features and a nice look. But it doesn't do a good job cleaning. For example: coffee cups that had nothing in them but coffee come out with food and gritty residue in them. I use the recommended detergent and even had a repair person out who could find nothing wrong. This item wasn't cheap. It just performs like it was.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Vden60, we certainly appreciate you choosing Frigidaire for your appliance needs. We apologize that you are having problems with your dishwasher and would like to help resolve your concerns. We would recommend using a rinse aid if you are not using one already. We would also check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Also check the incoming water temperature to be sure it is not less than 120°F (49°C) at the sink closest to the dishwasher.
You may want to double check the way you are loading your dishes; avoid nesting items. Water can accumulate when the items are too close together. Cups, glasses, and bowls with a concave (recessed) bottom will collect water. Plastic items may need to be towel dried. This is because plastic does not retain heat, resulting in poor water evaporation from the item. This is common in all dishwashers. When the upper rack is pulled out first residual water left in the spray arm can drip down on the dishes. Pull out the lower rack first.

Love the look

I have had this dishwasher for 31/2 months. It is very quiet and all my different size plates fit in it, so it is very roomy! I wasn't a big fan of the utensil holder but after using it many times I have come to really appreciate the idea of separating the utensils for better cleaning.

Purchased to replace one that was about 5 years old. We are upgrading to the stainless steel look in our kitchen and have replaced the stove/microwave and now the dishwasher..all that is left is the fridge. The only complaint I have so far is that there is a status window that is supposed to count down minutes in the cycle and the rinse aid information, but I can't seem to get it to light up and do so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really gets the dishes clean

Overall I'm very happy with this dishwasher! My only "complaints" would be that it seems moist inside all the time, which I never noticed on my previous dishwasher. Also, something about the arrangement of the top rack seems to not hold as many items as it should in the space. However, I bought it to clean my dishes, and it does a great job of that, so I'm really happy with it!

Thanks for sharing your feedback, hilltop542. Condensation / Humidity on the interior walls of your dishwasher after your wash cycle has finished is normal. To help minimize the amount of water that collects would be to use a Rinse Aid in every load. Rinse Aid helps keeps water from forming droplets. Allowing the water to "sheet away" or "run off" the dishes, improving drying. I hope this helps! Courtney
