It is a very nice appliance. Wish it did not stain. Once we cooked on it we have tried everything to remove the oil rings that are stuck on it. It has lost its color on one of the burners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It works well, but the burner surface is very difficult to keep clean, scratches easily and the scars cannot be removed.

Retirement Community unit

We recently moved into our community. This unit is a successor to the GE oven and glass stove top units we had in our previous home. We're very happy to have this GE unit with its high quality and reliability.

Everything is great except that the oven light burned out in the first 2 months. Was replaced at no charge by a factory rep. He told us that this has been a problem with the ovens. The light bulb that is put in the oven is not very good. It is a GE bulb.

Very nice electric cook top stove

Installed in a new construction home. The cook top has been very nice, fast heating elements, hot surface indicators, and easy to clean top. Avoid spilling sugars on the surface as that can cause permanent damage.

New range delivered today. Recommended to leave oven on x 1 hour. Quiet!!! Switched to electric range b/c have solar panels. Chose this model (not convection) b/c read customer reviews -- convection ovens have noisy fans. This range is just what I wanted. Thanks.
