The camera and battery life is just incredible. Super performance with games and apps. The display is also pleasing to look at. And with Windows Phone 8.1 plus apps from the Store, you'll never feel bored!

Great phone for the $$$

I actually bought my 640XL to replace my Note 4 while waiting for the 950XL gets released and wish I bought this phone months ago, battery life is absolutely awesome, practically twice as long as my old Note 4. It may not be quite as fast as my old Note 4 but its no slouch and gives you more bang for your buck then any phone out there.. I easily would be happy to keep this phone for years if the 950XL wasn't being released, granted I'll be paying more then double for the 950XL.. So if you want a great mid range large screen phone you won't do better then this!!

Amazing Camera and Keyboard

I love this phone. I would say that this is the best camera on any phone that I have seen, with HDR, flash adjustable after taking the image, and amazingly sharp photos. The keyboard is amazing; you can slide your finger across the keyboard to spell words, much faster than actually typing them. The phone works amazingly. It has not crashed once since I got it 1/2 year ago, and still words with the same great performance as straight out of the box. The screen is great, with sharp and smooth video playback and images from Lumia camera look absolutely stunning when rich capture is used.
I have only two complaints; one is that the store is very heavily lacking the number of apps in the other store, but please understand that this is not ms design flaw; people just don't make that many apps for it. Because of that, i did not include that in my rating numbers. Number two is that i am STILL waiting for the Win 10 update. I was promised this back in November-ish, and am still waiting for it about 1/2 a year later. The only reason I bought the phone in the first place was win 10, but I am still glad that I got it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, as long as they wouldn't miss the massive app stores of the competitors.

Just Another Phone

I upgraded from a Lumia 920 to Lumia 640 XL thinking the phone would be faster and take better pictures. It does neither. Even though the specification say the Lumia 640 XL is a better phone to me it it not. It is a bigger phone. It is a lighter phone, but a better phone it is not. The Lumia 640 LX seems slower and it takes terrible pictures. I use the Lumia Camera App on both phones. The bottom line is I was able to take better pictures on the Lumia 920. I think it is because Lumia 640 XL does not have a camera button and I have to tap the screen on it to take the picture which throws the focus off. Why, because the Lumia 640 XL is slow to react to a screen tap. Many times I have to tap twice to get anything to happen.

This phone ist really slow it actually is fast and the camera is much better than I expected including the front camera. I have had no problems with this phone I love it.
