Good phone great battery life

Good phone, light but feels well made. Large screen but easily fits in jeans pocket. Battery life easily lasts the average day the battery is now replaceable by the user finally a common sense improvement. Operating system is Windows 8 generally runs well BUT sometimes there is a lag between tapping what you want to use on the screen and something actually happening.

Love this phone

I got this phone to replace my broken Lumia 925. After reading reviews I was a little worried about the screen quality since it is only 720p. The funny thing is that the screen is actually great. The blacks are really nice, and the colors really pop. I think it has a beautiful screen. The camera's are also pretty nice, although the stock camera app doesn't do great in low light. Download the Lumia camera and that will not be a problem. The Battery life is another big plus side. I use my phone heavily and I can't burn through the battery in a day.
The physical design of the phone is very clean, very nice. It feels almost like a premium phone, and you can't beat this phone for the price.

Please release this product through Verizon. I will buy it now. Why is Microsoft limiting it just to AT&T in the US? There are other carriers who have a better network and pricing. Please release it to other carriers.

A very good WP except camera in low light

All features are good except camera. The camera performance is very in low light conditions. If i open camera in low light i can see some colored lines on the screen and picture and flash quality not good in low light. And also there is no option to add Telugu(indian language) to keyboard. Not all tiles on the start screen are transparent. I hope all these will be fixed in next version.

Always had a Samsung phone but this time I chose the windows phone. Simple and up to date with what I needed and wanted for my needs. Battery life is better than what I expected. I love Cortana and the ease of the tiles. It fits me and I fit it. I am happy with the choice I made.

This has been the easisest fastest phone I have ever had. Excellent value for the $$$ Perfect for someone who need great volume, great pics, fast speed and not excessive junk :) Just love it so far :)

this phone has big and bright screen, and the processor is fast. The battery lasts about 2 days. The mass storage is not very big, but I can expand it with micro sd card

First Lumia-Forever Lumia

I already used Microsoft services and wanted to try out the Windows phone. I really like the Lumia 640XL. The operating system is easy to use but also intuitive. I am switching from the Android OS which I thought was easy but the Windows OS seems more fluid. I now have a seamless experience between my PC and smartphone. Awesome. I hope Microsoft makes more high end phones.
