Didn't care for it. Attachments too big for me and too many levels to change length. Has plenty of power but the attachments are too big, hard for me to get past.
Pros: good power
Cons: attachments too big, too many levels, gap in attachment caused me to make a hole

Good Range of Use

Out of the box it charged and worked great.
I like the single attachment for beard trimming, with multiple settings. The hardest part with this is to try it out to find the length you prefer, then simply remember what setting number you liked. The higher the number, the longer the beard length; its not that complicated. Start with a long setting and work you way down until you find the length you like. There is an indicator on the right hand side of the attachment that shows you which setting you're on. Its not rocket science.
It gives a smooth comfortable trim, with no pulling or tugging.
I have used a different brand of beard trimmer before, but didn't have the multipurpose options, which I really like. It was one of my main purchasing decisions.
Overall, great product so far.
Pros: single bread trimmer attachment
Cons: does not come with cleaner / oil to start.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This things a BEAST!

Ive had this trimmer for 5 years now, its amazing! My beard is very corse (often akin to shaving barbed wire) and this trimmer has yet to dull out, bog down, or wind them up and yoink them out. The battery is still good for 45 minutes on a full charge (with my beard thats all it was good for out of the box), and the blades are as sharp as the day they were new. I also have very thick hair on top of my head, and this trimmer handles it with ease. Great little trimmer, would highly recomend. Phillips Norelco, bring this one back, just as it was.
Pros: good power, long runtime, well put together, its a beast of a trimmer. can handle any hair.
Cons: norelco stopped making it.

This shaver has all the features. However, it never cut right. While shaving it would pull the hair. The attachments don't stay tight. I have to push the attachment up to shave, if not, it hurts so bad... Sad I will be in search of a new shaver.
Cons: poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since Philips Norelco Merger - Shaver has no power

My father and I are both very disappointed, I have been using Norelco since I came out of the Military in 1968. Used to have a lot of power, cut very good, and very fast. Now it takes me twice as long to shave and I've never been able to grow a beard so I can't imagine how others could be using this product and think it is great?
Cons: no power takes several minutes over same area.

Overall this is a great product for it's intended use. The interchangeable heads are quick and easily changed, battery life seems to be very good and it clips hair without pulling as some cheaper items will do. The price, for what I got, was also very reasonable.
Pros: multiple trimmer heads, battery life

Attachment Broke, But Replaced for FREE!

I love this little thing. I travel a lot, and it goes with me. It's super reliable, and the battery life is great! The hair-cutting comb attachment broke pretty easily, but Philips replaced it for free! I love this company. They take care of their customers. I will always buy from Philips/Norelco! Thank you for a great product and great customer service!

One thing I would change

Overall, I thought the groomer worked great. The blades were sharp which is nice as it reduces the number of passes I have to make while trimming my beard, unlike other brands I have used in the past, and when I trim the length of my mustache the blades cut instead of pushing my whiskers, another problem I've had with previous brands. The multiple length adjustments are a plus, and the ear & nose hair attachment worked very well. As for the one thing that I would change, With my hand wrapped around the trimmer, when I push down on the button to adjust the length of the beard trimmer attachment, my forefinger tends to push on the power button, turning the unit on or off. I think if you were to lower the power button on the handle, that would help. It's not that big of a deal, just FYI. With all of that said, the test of time will now be the tell-tale here.
Pros: sharp blades reduces time spent trimming, ear & nose hair attachment works great, substantial amount of length settings, easy to use, decent warranty
Cons: power button location, my girlfriend still won't trim my beard for me lol
