I have had this TV for more than a year now and it has been excellent. Love the picture quality I have heard a lot of people complain about the speaker quality I don't hear the problem I do have a surround sound but use the TV speakers most of the time. Samsung has great products. I give this TV thumbs up all the way.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: none it's a great tv

Best picture of any other TV I've ever owned .....alot better than other brands I've had for a lot more $$$. Really enjoying the features of this SMART TV.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, sharp - crisp picture

We needed a smaller TV for a study and was so pleased with our 55" model that we bought this one. Again we are pleased with Samsung products.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

Love the tv 2 years later

I bought this TV 2 years ago I believe for my parents as well as the WiFi dongle for it and it still is receiving firmware updates 2 years later. I have problems with the audio sounding tinny once in a great while when viewing my dish setup but resetting the audio settings fixes this right away and the problem is rare.
One thing I love about this tv over my other tv that my parents don't use much is the amount of apps available for it. Apps like HBOGo , Youtube, Huluplus, Ustream, Pandora,Twit.tv and Plex just to name a few.
My parents use it mainly for just watching TV over the air and via Dish and never mess with the apps much and each time I look at over the air broadcasts that are in HD the picture blows me away over the old tv we had before.
One more thing I love about this tv that my folks don't use is the DNLA ability of the TV. In other words if you have DNLA based program running on your computer like playon or other software based servers this TV will probably find it and allow you to stream stuff from it.
One more thing I almost forgot to mention is that you can pop a thumb drive in to it as well and it will play videos or audio files from that thumb drive most of the time with no problem.

Great TV - One area of concern

Great Smart TV, works well. However, this "Smart TV" doesn't have a web browser - Or an app that allows for browsing. Maybe it should truly be called a 'Smart TV" after all.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no web browser, no web browser app

Excellent tv but has spotty access to apps

Great tv for all the reasons everyone says. Crystal clear, easy to use, reliable. However, even though it has a smart hub, I am not able to access what I think is a basic app that everyone with a smart tv should be able to access: amazon's app. I'm not a big app user, but I suspect that if this one is missing, a number of others are too. Please fix this. Then you will get 5 stars and I can recommend this tv to others.
Also, the smart hub interface is slow and clunky.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: does not have amazong app
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Out of all the TV's out there, not only does Samsung offer stunning resolution, inputs and options...it has the SMART TV software expanding options for no extra cost! You can download apps to watch HBO, Netflix, RedBox and even play games.
