Impressive set of features and great picture

We were very happy with our first Samsung TV (a 37") and decided to get a larger one. Easy to set up and plenty of options for tweaking the picture if you want to. We added the wireless Linkstick adapter which works fine. The SmartHub mode is a little sluggish to respond to commands, and the built-in speakers can't match a home theater setup of course, but those are minor nitpicks. This is the only reason for rating Performance as a 4. I would have used 4.5 if that was an option.
Initially we found that many shows had a "soap opera" look as though they were shot on video. Once we tweaked the picture settings (using settings that I found on the internet from someone who calibrated it) I found no shortcomings.
This set is a great value for the money. If you have a smartphone, get the free app that allows you to use your smartphone as a remote.

Cons: sluggish smarthub

Superbly thought out as far as the features available on this TV. Crisp display with plenty of settings to adjust to your particular environment.

Everything else we looked at we compared to the Samsung. We finally decided to quit comparing everything else and get the one we felt was best. No second guessing our decision this time,

TV was very simple to setup and the picture is fabulous and features are also great. Sund is not a problem as most people state as long as you set it up correctly.

Nice picture and light weight. Took some adjusting to get a good picture as compared to factory settings. Disapointed that you can't control external audio with volume control and lack of RCA audio outputs. Very sleek design. Like the swivel base. Hoping this tv lasts longer than 4 years like my plasma. Too much money to be shelling out every 4 years. After almost a month now I am very pleased with the product. Let you know more in about 4 years :o)

Great TV with exceptional picture quality and features

This is my first Samsung TV and it did not disappoint. The sound needs a little help so you may have to purchase a theater system or sound bar to get the best affect if you're using it in a family room or a much larger room. The built in speakers are okay for a bedroom. This was just a minor issue and would not have changed my mind one way or the other. Great purchase!

Cons: need a sound bar for better sound
