nice tv, wouldnt have done anything different other than a bigger size.. and the internet factor of the tv.. u have to spend more money on a link stick

My first HD tv

My first HD tv and I love It. it's hard to tell when to trade quality for value, this was the perfect compromise.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

So far I am not disappointed with any of the features or performance of this LED. It is by far the best purchase I have made in a long time. Once you take a few minutes to experiment with the settings you will be blown away. Make sure you have good HDTV service like DirectTV or FIOS or else your picture will look horrible but if you play with the setting your picture can look good. I have never been let down by Samsung and would recommend this LED TV to anyone!

Cons: not enough video/audio in/out

I am well satisfied with the picture. It is very clear and bright.
However the audio (speakers) are downward facing (I did not know this till it arrived) thus making the audio sound like it is in a tunnel. Might sound good if hung on a wall at about 8 feet but viewing the video would be undesireable..
It is supposed to have an optical output for the sound. However an optical cable will not plug into it and it does not look like any optical connector.
To improve the sound I placed a board behind the TV which helps project the sound outward but still has the tunnel sound.
Since it was a mail order it would be very difficult to return for different model.
