This dishwasher does not clean!

After three years of using this dishwasher, my wife and I decided that it is time to move on... This dishwasher does not clean the dishes at all. GE does not produce it anyways but this product is a disgrace to GE's reputation. No longer GE appliances in our household.

I have the quite power 7. I have had it repaired 4 times in 4 years. the door has a design flaw that allows moisture inside and this corrodes and shorts the electrical components.

Hunk of junk!

Bought a whole profile series kitchen as part of a new home build. 4 of the five appliances have had multiple repairs! The dishwasher has been the worst! Four control modules, two led ribbons, and just horrible dish cleaning. Will be replacing as soon as I can afford to.

A nightmare

This machine has never cleaned well. I have had to many times rewash dishes by hand because the final results were unacceptable.Twice we have had to replace the valve bringing water into the machine because of leaks. Unfortunately, we only figured out what was going on the first time after our newly refinished hardwood floors in the kitchen began to warp due to saturated subflooring. Today I went into the basement and saw the telltale signs it had happened again. I don't intend to repair it again. It is coming out of my kitchen for good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this dishwasher has always leaked at the door gasket, even after installing 2 new gaskets. It tend to spot glassware even when using a detergent non spotting liquid

Great product however the spraying arms are hard to clean. They are not designed to be open to be maintained. They get easily clogged and we spend lots of time taking them off and rinsing them...GE should design them so the customer could open them with a screwdriver and clean as needed. I feel some parts need to be designed differently so they last longer, perhaps a different plastic quality...

Had this dishwasher for 3 years. It worked fine for the first couple and then started not to have clean dishes....did all the "tips" that GE recommended with no resolve.

It doesn't clean well at all! I have had this dishwasher for six years and it has been terrible since the beginning. It has never cleaned properly not even in the longest cycle. I have to always rinse before and after the cycle... Terrible product!
