Make yourself look good

Everyone can take stunning pictures with a Rebel XTi camera! This camera is capable of so much, and it is so versatile that you can use it professionally or personally. I enjoy the array of manual settings to get the exact picture I'm after. The controls and menus are laid out in a clear fashion and are easy to manipulate. If you couple this camera with Canon's EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, I guarantee that you will take pictures that are better than any you have ever taken before!
Pros: construction, ease of use, battery life, automatic sensor cleaner
Cons: no live preview on the display

Amazing Camera & Easy to use

This is such an awesome camera! I purchased this because I knew it would be easy to use everyday and it would be easy for my husband to learn. I use a DSLR at work, and this one is just as amazing as a higher priced camera.
I did add a con, but I wouldn't let it change my mind about the camera, and I wouldn't let it deter anyone from a purchase.

Ive had this camera since last xmas, took thousands of pics, flawess function. Easy to use,exellent quality for the price. If you really want to impress someone with a unique gift, this camera will show that you have made a good choice, both money wise and quality wise.

I have used Canon cameras for over twenty years. This is my first digital SLR and it is superb. I should have got one sooner. Easy to follow instructions and I was up and running very quickly. It has many creative features other than just"Full Auto" I would highly recommend this camera for the experianced SLR user and any newcomer to the world of SLR photography.

First Digital SLR

I bought this camera kit to replace my old G2 camera. The only real issues with the camera were the flip up flash and the lense that is included with the kit. The flip up flash is good for a fill flash and the original lense was actually out of focus. I replaced the original lense with the 18-55 IS EF-S lense and the focus issues ceased. The flash issue was fixed by replacing the flash with the EZ430 speedlite. Out of the box this kit is a good camera but with the two changes that were made it has become an excellent camera.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Solid Operation, good battery life
Cons: Missing features/settings, small physical size

Wonderful Camera!

I love this camera! I use this camera for taking family pictures and portraits of my daughter. When ever I use my smaller, cheaper camera I can definitely tell the difference! This camera has been so great to have over the years.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: noisy, Heavy/Bulky, uses cf cards most cameras use sd

Lots of Fun

I have had this camera for about 15 months. It has traveled with me to Argentina, Chile, England, and France taking picutres all along the way, and has given me great travel pictures, and wonderful memories. I also use a Canon macro lenes for flowers and insects and really enjoy that too. I feel this is a great camera and am really happy that I bought it. I may get a more advanced camera body in the future but feel that I will still keep this one as well.

Great entry level dSLR

This is my first dSLR and I am very pleased with it. It has solidified my intrest in photography. I recieved the XTi as a Christmas gift in 2007 and have taken thousands of photos. I love this camera, its performance is more than satisfactory, the learning curve is very short. It is perfect for someone like myself, a person very interested in learning more about photography and enjoying making their own art. I look forward to the thousands of pictures to come!

Cons: button decals rubbing off, small camera for large hands, built-in flash inadequate
