Nice fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like being able to find things but ice maker had to be replaced. Ice maker was making a popping noise and had it replaced, new one is doing the same thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ongoing problems with leaking ice/water maker

I have had ongoing problems with water dripping down front of refrigerator onto wood floor, condensation/build up inside refrigerator and water dripping out of ice maker into the refrigerator due to faulty ice/water maker. Had the ice maker unit replaced; had to wait 2 weeks for repair, was told it was on backorder because so many problems with this issue. Still leaking after replacement, so Frigidaire is replacing the refrigerator. Pleased with customer service through my local dealer, but obviously not acceptable to have to replace the refrigerator after 6 months. I am replacing with a Frigidaire Professional refrigerator that has no water/ice dispenser in door only because I have new home and want appliances to match. Would be reluctant to purchase Frigidaire again otherwise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loud buzzing noise.

Loud buzzing noise
We’ve owned this refrigerator for 5 days and it is very loud. It makes a high pitched buzzing, vibrating noise most of the time. It is louder than the old 11 year old fridge we had. Service is coming out on Saturday. I already regret this purchase as our brand new oven won’t turn on at all. Feeling frustrated about this purchase.

"Big hat no cattle"

This refrigerator is poorly designed from a technical perspective and should have not been released to the market. The fatal flaw is it's inability to regulate the proper temperature between the fridge and the freezer. This unit freezes the product in the meat/cold cut drawer with temperatures set at 42 degree in the fridge...oh and by the way when you call in regarding this this they tell you the lowest temperature you can set this fridge to is 38 degrees (as it freezes up the ice maker in the lower freezer portion). How long do you think dairy products last at 42 degrees?...forget the expiration date...that is only for people that actually have a fridge that can get down to 35 degrees without freezing up.
Additionally you want cold water throughout the door? Forget that with this dandy...no dice...I guess they forgot that too. The well thought out owners manual very succinctly addresses this...oh you want cold water?...add ice...but only from the upper ice maker the bottom one will be frozen up.
The design is very professional looking, however the engineers for this product need to resolve the issues before this is ready for the market. Paying the extra money for the top of the line is a big mistake here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a side-by-side refrigerator to the French Door and love the open, extra spacious refrigerator. There are lots of well designed space-saving storage options to help with arranging the contents (the only one I don't use is the pop can dispenser). The freezer drawer has an extra ice maker which comes in handy when extra ice is needed - no more buying a bag of ice at the store. The water dispenser is shallow enough and at such an angle that you can actually get a tall glass or water pitcher underneath. This stainless appliance stays looking great because of the anti-finger print finish.
I would recommend this to a friend!
