Nice fridge overall with some minor issues.

Had the fridge 2 wks. Bought it to replace Kenmore that died after 4 yrs and was informed by repair man that Frigidaire was reliable. After doing lots of research and shopping around chose this one. It is a nice fridge overall. Like the smudge proof finish. Though it's a little different to our other stainless steel appliances it blends in. No issues with temps so far. Despite having an ice maker/water dispenser in the door it still seems to have plenty of internal and door space. Had been worried about that. I like the fact that shelves can be adjusted to fit large items and the drawers can be stacked on top of one another if needed. Ice makers are producing plenty of ice. Occasionally a piece or two can fall behind the ice storage container in the bottom freezer but contrary to what I read in other reviews I've been able to retrieve them. There are a couple of things I'm not thrilled with. To access the left side drawer in the fridge you have to have both doors open. The left door won't stay open on it's own. Not sure if it swings back because of the additional weight or if it needs adjustment.The drawers themselves don't seem to run as smoothly as you'd expect, especially the main drawer. My main issue is with the noise it sometimes makes, usually in the evenings. It has a variety of sounds, and the manual states it may make a high pitched humming sound. It does! At times it's as though the fridge is whistling. Loud, long lasting and annoying. At first it seemed almost constant as the fridge seemed to be running all the time, but now we've had it a while it's periodic, which is an improvement but still irritating. Looking back at reviews I see others have had noise issues too and been told it's normal. Other than that, we're happy so far.

Wanted high end appliances without the high end cost. Suits all our needs and have had no issues at all....Also bought the range,dishwasher and microwave..

Love the Smudge Proof Surface.

We bought this for our newly built home and have been extremely pleased with it. Great roomy interior with a place for everything. The exterior is wonderful and really makes it a breeze to keep a "stainless" finish looking clean. One thing that is less than perfect is the water that comes from the dispenser is not cooled. Otherwise we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

A bit disappointed

Love the size, lights, features & double ice makers but not so happy with the water constantly leaking down the front.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely Love It

I was concerned re water and ice dispenser leaking problems other buyers expressed but have had absolutely no problems with it at all. No leaking whatsoever. I love this fridge. My only problem is that I am only 5 feet tall and the top shelf is difficult for me to reach and I cannot reach the back of the shelf. That, however, is MY problem, not the refrigerator. LOL.

Beautiful and practical

I have had this refrigerator for about a month now. I love the French door design and I have been able to keep everything within sight without items getting pushed to the back. The ability to configure shelves really helps with organization!
