Excellent lighting!

I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago, and I love it! The inside is lighted very well. The lights are LED and get brighter when you open the doors. The stainless Steele has a satin finish, so finger prints are not an issue. The controls are on the edge of the door, so you don't have to worry about young children pressing the buttons as they walk by. Another feature I really like is the ice cube maker in the freezer. It is a great option to have for parties.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful, spacious, flawed.

I have had this refrigerator for several months now. The upside is that unlike many french door models, this one maintains an even internal temperature. The dual ice makers are very handy if you entertain. It is laid out well. The bottom freezer is nicer than other models I looked at and slides well. The handles are durable.
The downside is that the temperature sensor and main control board failed within the first two weeks of ownership and had to be replaced. At default settings (38F) the chiller drawer in the bottom freezes all the food in it. It still freezes at 39F and I am not willing to run my fridge at 40+. The bottom ice maker freezes and hasn't produced ice since the control board was replaced.

Love My new Refrigerator

When I was in the store and read some of the reviews about the problems some people were saying about the refrigerator, I was a little concerned but purchased it anyway. I am happy to say that the water on the door does not leak and that I have had no problems with the refrigerator and we love it. It is roomy and I love the freezer at the bottom instead of on top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke within 2 months

Purchased in January 2016. Immediately noticed that the food in the crisper tray inside the refrigerator was all freezing. Apparently, this is a known issue with the damper inside the air vent. Even when closed it lets freezer air into the bottom area of the main compartment. They are sending a kit to correct. If they have a kit to fix, that means it is a known problem and should have been fixed at the factory.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just What I wanted

We have had this refrigerator a month and so far it has exceeded our expectations. Both ice makers make a ton of ice way faster than we expected from reading other reviews. The cool drawer works great, love the usable door space and the lighting is excellent. Now if only the can holder was a 1/4 inch wider it would hold my husband's beer cans so I wouldn't have them taking up shelf space.

Three issues

First issue is that the cold drawer freezes everything...
Second issue is that the digital controls in the door are VERY fickle! More often than not I can't get them to work.
Third issue is that the water dispenser does not produce cold water... Odd, thought they all did.
It's a little disappointing for the money.

Thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience with us, Lpw2. I recommend raising the temperature on the humidity control that's attached to your crispers to prevent your food from freezing. Also, the water coming from your refrigerator will not be cold and will most likely be the temperature of that of your tap water. This is due to the fact that the water lines have to run through heated areas of the refrigerator and will eventually pass through close to the ice maker to raise the temperature of the water slightly. Love the smudge proof door and ice maker! Hate that the water dispenser is not chilled when I thought I was buying a chilled water dispenser! Especially during the hot summer time weather I get warm water to drink! Even the instruction manual states the water suppose to be chilled. Therefore, I called a repairman and he could not believe there was not a cooling system. Wow in 2016 the refrigerator does not chill your water!

Ice Maker & Water Dispenser Issues

Purchased this model in 2012. Love all the features it offers. The ice maker & water dispenser have been the subject of multiple service calls. Repairs are only temporary. My service repair provider insists the model is flawed. I have purchased extended warranties & only want Frigidaire to make the good on the warranty. Declare the product flawed & offer to replace the product at a discounted price.
