The icemaker drips water that leaks inside the door to who knows where, I worry that mold will form inside the door. there is no explanation as to why such a poor design.

Repeated product failures

My wife and I purchased a new gas range/oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator about 4 1/2 years ago after we had a house fire and rebuilt our home. The ice maker in the refrigerator failed within the first year and it was repaired under warranty. The icemaker began to pump water out every 30 seconds which filled up the ice tray and began dumping onto the floor. Our new hardwood floors where damage and had to be replaced. Our dishwasher failed in year two along with the refrigerator again. Both were repaired at our expense. Since then the dishwasher failed again and the refrigerator has now failed five times. The microwave digital display quit about a year ago and then this past month the only button to work was the 30 second quick heat. The push button for the door opener began to not operate unless pressed multiple times as well. We were disappointed in Frigidaire in the second year of ownership when we had both the refrigerator stop cooling and called to have it repaired and before the repairman could come and do the repairs in two days the icemaker in the door had quit again. We called Frigidaire as we new we had purchased a "lemon" at this point in hopes they would just replace it. Frigidaire did not replace it and we have had to pay to repair it with each time it has failed. After the icemaker in the door quit working the third time we just turned it off and have only used the ice maker in the tray in the freezer. My wife doesn't want to purchase a new refrigerator when ours is still relatively new but I don't want to continue to have to repair it. Thanks Frigidaire for this stress on our marriage as my wife scheduled for a repair against my better judgement. I strongly recommend purchasing appliances from another manufacturer as our experience has been well less than satisfactory with Frigidaire and their standing behind their products after repeated product failures.

Smudgeproof. Great features.

I bought this refrigerator in April 2015. It had no ratings that I could find anywhere and I took a chance that it would be exceptional. For the most part, I've been happy with it. I have 2 complaints - one of which would've been a deal breaker for me had I read it in reviews. First - While I love the Ice Maker in the bottom - and we get plenty of ice with this refrigerator - When you pull open the drawer that holds the ice bin, ice spills out the back into the bottom of the freezer and there is NO physical way to reach it at all. There is ice sitting in the bottom that I cannot remove and I don't know how to get to it. Second (worse) is that the water drips from the front water dispenser. No one will have been in the kitchen for all day and I will walk in to water that has run down the front of the fridge. I am constantly removing the tray and drying it out underneath the tray and then cleaning the front. Water will be seting on the top lip of the freezer drawer, and it will be run down the freezer front and in the floor. This leaves a "water stain" on the stainless steel front that is driving me crazy. If I wipe the tray every day then this is less of a problem but it's still annoying and if I'd known of this problem I wouldn't have purchased the fridge. I do love the freezer. Plenty of room. Great ice maker. I also love the set up of the fridge on the inside. I wish I'd had an option not to have the soda can dispenser in the door as we do not drink canned soda and that space is wasted on our family.

Initial like but disappointed

Delivered last month and having problems with from day two. Had to replace in freezer ice maker. Now too much condensation inside and out. Now the top ice maker is not making ice.

I bought this about a month ago. Having issues with the water dispenser and ice maker. I read the reviews and I was warned, but I had a great experience with the Frigidaire Gold that I did not thing I would be going back in quality. Do your research.

great features

I like the fact that I can rearrange the shelves, both inside and on the door. Also, the can holder and the extra ice maker in the freezer as well as the shelves which allow one to open up space below are great features.The fruit/veggie drawers are deep, allowing me to put in full heads of veggies and small bowls filed with fruit inside. The right door seals and prevents cold air from escaping. However, I do NOT like the fact that water is constantly dripping from the freezer, marring the outside of the refrigerator with drops of water seemingly ingrained onto the finish. Also, I find the refrigerator to be noisy and using more electricity than my previous refrigerator, increasing the electricity usage and u pping my electric bill.
