[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frig only lasted 3 days before it broke. Service tech had to change both board in the fridge. No acceptable for a new appliance

Statement Piece w/ functionality

I purchased both the matching refrigerator and freezer along with the trim kit for my new home. It is truly a statement piece in my new kitchen. No matter who comes in it always starts a conversation. The obvious reason to purchase this refrigerator / freezer combo is space, and there is plenty of that. The fact is that the unit could actually use another set of drawers to utilize all of the space.
The unit is not overly loud while running, it is well lit and after three weeks the unit seems to be running the way it is supposed. The exterior stainless still gets dirty but it is definitely easy clean up.

Not very happy with these items

We had this refrigerator for 4 years now. After 2 years the compressor went out. They replaced and now it has been 2 years again and the temperature is set at 38 degrees but the temp inside the refrigerator is below freezing. Is the compressor going out again? Also our freezer just needed to have the compressor replaced too after 4 years. 4 of our neighbors have the same set for almost 4 years without any issues. Why are we having such bad luck?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have never had any problem with either one. Previous to that I had a Sub Zero, which I also loved, but the Frigadaire is larger and a much better VALUE. It is now 6 years old and NO problems at all.

We installed this about a month ago, after a long, drawn-out process, figuring out what to buy. We are so happy with this purchase. We were very gun-shy about buying stainless again, as our last fridge (not Frigidaire) smudged to no end! The smudge-proof of this single door refrigerator (and the companion freezer) lives up to its name. No smudges. These units look clean all the time. Guests are very impressed with the look. And we love the amount of space in both units. My husband especially likes that we no longer lose stuff in the freezer (we had pull-out bottom freezer where everything used to get lost at the bottom!).

This brand new refrigerator is so much larger than any other one we have ever had-- At first I thought it might even be too large-- but the convenience of the way the storage is arranged in both the freezer and the fridge is just so darn convenient. There is a lot of door storage and the doors are strong enough for water pitchers and plenty of bottles of liquid, which is heavy
