Odd size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set looks very nice. The problem with ours is that it is 5 years old and has been repaired twice and no longer works. Due to the COVID outbreak, no stores have any in stock to replace ours. This brings to light that the size is unique and no other models will fit in the space. We have been without a refrigerator since August and the release date for the new models keep getting pushed back. Now it looks like we will not be getting a new one till some time next year. I hope the new model matches the old freezer or we will need to replace both.

Nothing professional about this frig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this frig for about 3 years now. Constantly needing repair. Door handle come loose every few months. Plastic parts will all need replaced within a few years. Condensation causes the door alarm to sound every few months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Soooo Disappointed!

I experienced the same issues as another post. The evaporator coil welds failed causing the tubing to rot and of course stop working after 2 years of service, which of course is out of the warranty period. Paying this kind of money you'd expect a better product. The repairman said this was common! Unbelievable. Come on Frigidaire - what happened to quality?

Stopped cooling after less than a year of use

First of all - we love the unit. The lights on the inside are awesome and the storage is amazing. However - the unit stopped cooling after less than a year of actual use.

Unreliable

This is the second one I owned. The first one (Electrolux) lasted less than 4 years; this one (Frigidaire) lasted less than 2 years. In each case, I was told it's the compressor!

Freon Leak!!!

Numerous reviews online speak to the consistent freon leak problem that can not be accessed or fixed by a repair person on this fridge. The problem has been going on for 5+ years. Why not fix the manufacturing issue? What do you do when your fridge goes bad before the matching freezer? Lots of issues here. Poor workmanship. Warranty runs out after 1 year then what do you with an expensive appliance that can't be fixed?

Great size! Doesn’t last.

I bought this fridge in 2014. It had to be repaired in 2017 and then died 8 months later. This was our second fridge as we are a family of ten. No one makes things that last very long anymore. We had an extended warranty on the unit. Too expensive for them to repair as well.
