Terrible quality

I have lost a count on how many times it has been repaired. Works for few months and then temp goes to above fifty. Slow leak in the evaporator, rust around door hinge. I would replace the whole unit but after reading so many negative reviews with people having same problems with newer units, I do not know what to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] im so disappointed in this refrigerator i purchased this refrigerator for my home on the hopes it would last this was not the case i started having trouble 4 months and im still having trouble 3 years later which is ridiculous DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PARTICULAR MODEL REFRIGERATOR ITS NOT WORTH IT ..

Unhappy

We've had this fridge since 2015. Freezer side seems to be ok, but the fridge side is out. I've had to replace the thermister in 2016, now the heat exchanger leaking refrigerant due to condensation and (evaporator tested positive for leak). Ugh! So unhappy with this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Concern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only a few years the area around the interior drain is peeling. Service guy said the area will need to be re-painted or the unit will need to be replaced soon. Product should last more than a few years.

This will be a lawsuit one day

This refrigerator has an uncoated evap coil that will fail as soon as the brief warranty expires. In a freezer the frost protects the coil from corrosion and other manufacturers coat the coil, in this application, to protect it but not Frigidaire. Mine is 4 years old and has gone through two, I would replace it but the custom cabinetry was built just for this machine. Do a Google search on this product, it is terrible.

Drip tray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a beautiful fridge but has the stupidest design flaw. In order to remove the drip tray you must remove all the contents from the fridge, tip it on its back; therefore dripping all the contents from the drip tray and unscrew it from the bottom!! We were unaware that milk spilled in my fridge, dripped down the drip drain into the tray and has been rotting there. My entire house smells like death, we isolated the problem and can't remove the tray because it's screwed in there. Who was the brains behind that??
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mine is less than three years old and already have significant repair required to replace the coil. Worst refrigerator I have ever owned. Will never buy this brand again.
