[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen and although it’s not finished yet, I can say that my new refrigerator (and freezer) are the envy of all my friends! Can’t wait for this pandemic to end so they can see it in real life

Love the set, twice the capacity .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Same price as reg refrigerator unit but twice the capacity. Looks built in with trim kit, 1/3 price of similar Sub zero or thermador. Just does not have ice/water dispenser. That is only negative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the capacity and little storage features. Wish it had filtered water ability though.

Just what we wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a 2-year renovation on a historic home (previously a middle school built in the 1930s) we were excited to put the finishing touches in to our kitchen the Firdge/Freezer is exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately the fan for the freezer never worked which make the compressor work extra hard and was very noisy. Fridgidaire honored their warranty, unfortunately, with the COVID crisis, we have been waiting over 2 months for the compressor to arrive. BUT, in the mean time, we love our Fidge/freezer.

Total Wow Factor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago, built-in and installed the fridge, freezer and trim kit set and have been meaning to write a review ever since. Incredible upgrade from the original 36" combo unit. Pros: Very low failure rate Lots (and lots) of space Great internal lighting Did I mention the Wow Factor!?
Cons: Had to repair the ice maker in the freezer 2 years ago Not silent, not too loud, but you can definitely tell when running Because they are "built-in" it is a hassle to get behind them - not sure this is a con since I've only taken them out a few times
If you have the space and want the look of the pro level built-in, for MUCH less expense and actually larger than the standard 48" (less-than-Zero) - get this setup. We love it.

Complete Garbage NO STARS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my 2nd one of these...why would I buy a 2nd one, you ask? It's a built in model, you either buy another one to replace it or redo your kitchen AND buy a new refrigerator and freezer, it was cheaper to buy another one. I bought the freezer too. I had to have a repair man replace the compressor and haven't had problem since both that was costly. The first fridge lasted about 6 years and now this one is about 2 years old and can't hold temp. Our hard wood floors are ruined from having to slide this hunk of junk out over and over to replace parts. Also the handles on the new model doesn't match the old model, nor are the handles designed in a way in which they can be changed out. It looks beautiful but do yourself a favor and keep shopping for something else.

Worst Purchase EVER
on August 30, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had these units for 6 months. Installed 3 months after purchase due to construction of our new home. And have have issues from Day 1. Door hinge was bent when we received it. 2 months after moving into our home we started having erratic cooling issues with the refrigerator. It runs at 57 degrees and take sometimes 24 to 36 hours to cool down. Then it goes right back up to 57degrees. For the past two weeks i've Called Customer Service 5 times and the times that I would get through to a person and after explaining the situation, I"d be put on hold and the call would disconnect after 15 to 20 min. Thank you Frigidaire for selling me a LEMON that I can't get someone to even take a look at.

Nice and roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great size refrigerator with easy access to its contents, however the seal on it is so strong it’s a struggle to open the whole refrigerator moves. My Fair Rating is solely on the door seal and the difficulty to open it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Response from frigidaire.comBy Brandi, Online Outreach Specialist, November 5, 2018
Thanks for your feedback, phil_sc! When the refrigerator door is opened, warm air rushes inside. When you close the door, all the warm air rushes to the evaporator which causes a vacuum. This will cause the door to be hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. If your refrigerator door is hard to open, try rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly along the edges of the entire gasket. If you need additional assistance, please contact us directly at 1-888-203-1389 M-F from 8a-8p or Sat from 9a-6p EST. ~ Brandi
