My husband calls the fridge and freezer the 007 appliances because of their ease of use and futuristic look when you open them up. We love the ease and beauty. So glad we didn't get a traditional refrigerator. These make life much easier.

Great value and great looks

I purchased the refrigerator and freezer columns with the trim kit and have been pleased with their performance and looks. They were fairly easy to install - I suggest two people. Now I have tons of freezer space! Purchased in May 2018.

Great Piece of Equipment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the new refrigerator. There is a ton on space. It has one long vegetable and fruit drawer that has dividers. The dividers are rather flimsy. I would have preferred two in the design as I tend to buy a lot of produce and like to split it up. The doors have a ton of storage. There is no egg tray but just keep them in the carton. We also purchased the freezer and together that make quite a statement in the kitchen. They look fabulous.

Looks great - but isn't

Interior lights didn't work due to a loose wire. Freezer runs 12 hours per day and when it defrosts, the pan overfills and floods the kitchen floor. The matching fridge next to it runs 1/10th as often. Waiting 3 weeks for a qualified repair person... Also, it is very noisy - the compressor makes a weird rattling noise and the door is quite hard to open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our Fourth purchase of the Freezer and refrigerator in under 8 years because these just don't last. The current Freezer is noisy as well. The only reason we buy them, is they fit the giant cutout in the kitchen cabinetry.

Your new, high-efficiency freezer may introduce unfamiliar sounds. These sounds normally indicate your refrigerator is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable.
Today’s compressors run much faster than in the past. Your compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. For additional information about the sounds your freezer makes, I recommend reviewing the “BEFORE YOU CALL” section of your Use & Care guide page 19 & 20.
