LOVING our fridge/freezer set

I have YET to fill this freezer. It has more than doubled my current capacity. Overfilling used to be my problem; but NO more! Everything works perfectly EXCEPT the ice made by the "icemaker" has a funky taste as it melts. Has anyone else experienced this?

After having this refrigerator for 5 years the Freon leaked. It now will cost me more to repair the problem than the cost of the refrigerator did in the first place. Now I have to buy a new refrigerator because it will not match freezer. Plus the freezer seal around door fell off on the bottom.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the fridge and freezer not even two years ago and built my kitchen around them. The fridge has been great but the freezer has gone down 3 times already. I just had the compressor replaced 3 weeks ago, i thought we finally had a working freezer, to my surprise we came home to find a melted mess in my freezer once again. I am really hoping Frigidaire will step up and help out, I didn't even reach out to them the first few times but now this is getting old. Let's see how the customer support is, any brand can have issues, how they handle them is what makes the brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast food freezing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just days after buying this freezer, I butchered and froze over 325 pounds of beef. The freezer works so well that by the time I was ready to put one batch of meat in the freezer, the previous one was almost frozen solid. I had expected to have to rotate the packages to achieve even freezing, but this was not the case.
I love that this freezer isn't too deep. No more losing a turkey way in the back!

I would say I'm fairly satisfied, with exception that the freezer makes more noise then my previous 10 year old model. It was advertised as having a quiet operating components, but not so.

Upon arrival, it was missing the glass from one of the main shelves, and the clear plastic magnetic shelf front failed to latch closed. So as for final inspection and quality control, how can such obviously missing components fail to be discovered?? Service response was reasonable.

Cosmetic and mechanical integrity sound!

Placed both the as side by side in our new home in Louisiana. Great finish, works well with rustic or contemporary looks.
The led lighting looks amazing.
Also I'm a mechanical integrity inspects and I can say these units are built to the highest standard
