I also was excited to receive my new DeepClean Premier Cleaner! I had just cleaned my carpets two weeks earlier with my older steam cleaner, and felt confident the I would not see too much in the way of soil or pet hair in my carpet. Surprise! I was truly aghast at the dirt and hair that was extracted. The color and pattern of my 7 year old carpet looked new and bright again. I have a ritual of rinsing my carpets with diluted vinegar water after cleaning and was pleased to see next to clear water coming from the carpet. Assembly is a snap of three screws and a Philips head. Since I have a touchy back I just used my kitchen sprayer to fill the reservoir, if you can lift a gallon of milk you can handle this. Points of Evaluation 1.A snap to assemble and operate 2.Tremendous suction, not only cleans embedded soil,hair and stains, but leaves carpets only slightly damp, making for a very short drying time, even in my humid climate . 3.The cleaner itself is the easiest to clean. I used to spend over an hour to clean my old cleaner ,I felt like mechanic. The premier was just turning two small knobs and viola!, Off the plate came and I rinsed away the residue. A dirty carpet cleaner is like using a dirty mop on the kitchen floor, YUCK!. 4.Used this on an old multipurpose sisal rug that was so stained even after it had been cleaned by a rental I was ready to throw it out. I thought this would be the true test, Well folks I can sincerely announce that this workhorse carpet looks new again. 5.It pays for itself right away. Why go thru the hassle and expense of renting a machine, or hiring some one else and their equipment not knowing what, where or whose dirt and germs your bringing into you home. 6.Most of all I have the peace of mind knowing that my grandchildren can crawl around on clean carpets. Thank You BISSELL , this cleaner is a home run!

I have never won a thing in my life and when I received it I was amazed. Even more amazing is that it is wonderful. I have 5 dogs, 4 of which are elders and have accidents occasionally. This cleans wonderfully. Easy, and does a great job. Bissell is a great product and I love their vacuums too. Will purchase always from them..

Now someone was really thinking of the consumer when they designed this product. Cleanup was super easy and the machine was powerful and made our carpets look like new again. I am so glad I didn't settle for other products. Great Job Bissell. ps. Easy cleanup should be a key feature on your packaging!!

I have pets that come in and out of the house. I love having a machine to use as needed instead of having to go rent one. I can clean up the soils when they happen and keep my house looking clean all of the time. I wish I had bought one long before now.

Overrall good steam cleaner

I found this steam cleaner easy to maneuver with little or no effort. It's easy to tell when you're still pulling up dirty water from the carpet & when the dirty water tank is full. It's fairly easy to empty the dirty water, however sometimes there's some soapy water that drains as well. My only suggestions for improvements would be to include a "stopper" type of tool that can be inserted to ensure no loss of the soapy water when emptying the dirty water. Also, a rubberized section in the upper rear section of the handle would make it less likely for the consumer to develop blisters from large cleaning jobs.

First off, gave it only 4 stars at this time since I have had this cleaner for only a week, and will need more hands on for a full and proper review, but thus far it does clean up my very large area rugs over other methods I have used. Since the carpet was so dirty, I used it twice over a two day period, and it still finds lots of dirt. Will do it for the third time later, but my carpet looks cleaner now, and very pleased with the DeepClean 47A2 unit.

I bought the DeepClean Premier after reading the reviews. I am so pleased with how this machine cleaned my carpet and area rugs. It took no more effort than vacuuming the carpets. I did not have a problem with the length of the cord but the attachment for the stairs should fit more secure in the holder because when I would run the cleaner along the wall, the attachment would fall from the holder. I would recommend this cleaner. Clean up was easy and being able to take the cleaner apart makes it super easy to clean the parts after cleaning the carpet.

My deep clean premier#174 does an excellent job cleaning my carpets was really impressed how good it cleaned. The only problem I have is the furniture cleaner hose falls off and dumping the container it spills out of larger hole. But the machine does a good job on my carpets. Also is not a light in weight.
