Quite an improvement over my old Bissell

My old Bissell cleaner with only six rows of brushes had recently quit working. So, I borrowed this Bissell that my son had recently purchased. Wow !!! What a difference. Family tried to convince me I should just get new carpeting, but it is still in great shape, showing NO wear at all. So I thought I would decide after a good cleaning. Between the dog and grandkids my carpet had many and varied stains. I pretreated these spots by thoroughly wetting them with the cleaning solution/ water mixture and letting them sit for about 1/2 hour. Then I proceeded to clean the full carpet. ALL of the stains are gone !!! And the family all agreed, no new carpeting is needed !!! I so appreciate my son letting me borrow his, but, I truly think I will be getting one for myself, and this model will be my choice without a doubt.( I do have to agree with other responders though, a longer cord [ about 6 ft more] and a more secure attachment of the handheld nozzle is much needed.)

This BISSELL DEEPCLEAN PREMIER DEEP CLEANER worked very well on our carpet! My husband really liked two aspects of this shampooer---the fact that it did not have to be emptied as often as the previous machine we owned...the "bladder" did not fill up w/the dirty water quickly & thus saved time and effort. The other benefit was the easy clean-up of the actual compartments. In other machines, dirt & debris seems to get caught inside the various receptacles & is very hard to remove....if not impossible! This was a very welcome and pleasing aspect of this tedious chore! All in all, we would highly recommend this BISSELL machine! Thank you very much for this opportunity!

I had this stain in my carpet that I could not get out. I tried it with this machine and it came right out, it look like the stain was never there. I love this cleaner!

We previously owned 2X Deep Cleaner - Pros- Improved Water inlet into the bladder. Less leaking into dirty water reservoir. Does a great job of taking up water it lays down, that means dry carpets sooner. Cons - Electrical Cord way to short, have to switch outlets in every room. High pitched noise from the motor. - Very annoying. Have to hold the trigger really tight to get water to spray.

This item is probably the best we have ever used but it does seem to have a problem with the round seal between the 2 sections of the tank system. The seal falls out. It seems the seal is either to small or the channel it fits into is not the correct width. I have attempted to contact BISSELL service on line and find that all they wish 2 do is sell you another seal. I/we have only used this item on 2 10X15 rooms and each time the tank is emptied the seal falls out. Perhaps customer support could perform much better.

Thanks for the feedback. The seal you are referring to is similar to a screendoor filter. It shouldn't fall out, but if it does you can fit it back into place. Thanks for letting us know your issue.

Replaced our old carpet cleaner with this one and what a huge difference it makes. Setup to clean is really great and with the size of the water capacity I can clean one room plus. Cleanup is also a plus for this machine. I highly recommend this unit for average household. We had one area of our bedroom that was really gross looking with many varied stains. This Bissell cleaner amazed both my wife and I when we saw that all these stains were completely gone. Thanks Bissell.

This is the first carpet shampooer I have ever owned and I was very excited to use it. We have lived in our house for 16 months now and we have beige carpet. We have 3 kids so needless to say, there were a lot of spills and stains. I could tell a difference after only completing half of my daughters room. The scent of the cleaner that was included was incredible! I am very pleased with my new purchase and enjoyed using it. Too bad we only have 4 rooms with carpet because this could be my hobby..lol. Also, the Deep cleaner was easy to put together, only had 3 screws. I liked the way I could see the machine sucking the water back up off the carpet, so I knew when I stopped seeing the water being sucked up, I had gotten all the excess water up.
