I had my last Bissel machine for many years. It was very durable . I will definitely have to replace this soon & I think it's about a year old. I have already spent about $40 or replacing something on it. Now the Water Basket is leaking & the Upholstery Brush I used maybe 2 x 's doesn't work anymore

No Clean Water

Has no clean water tank to rinse out cleaning solution, Must drain tank and go over area already cleaned with fresh water to pick up solution left on carpet. They made the machine cheaper with only one tank to deal with causing the owner of the machine twice the work as compared to the old model 9200 that had two tanks one for solution and one for fresh pick up water. The carpets get dirty faster because the left over rug shampoo is what attracts more dirt.

I've always owned Bissell carpet cleaners, our last one we had for 10yrs and it just broke. We purchased this one in hopes it would be as good as our last one, it has surpassed my expectations! This machine is very powerful cleaned our carpets beautifully, I am very pleased.

Not sure if it is getting up all the water

I just used my project cleaner for the first time. I like that it has dual brushes but I'm not sure if it is getting up all the water I sprayed on my carpet. When I went to go empty the tank, there was barely any water in it. It is picking up lint and some water. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your posting. What you described it doesn't sound like you are getting all the water back up. Please check the tank to ensure its seated properly and the lid locked in place. This is the best wet vac I've owned. I've had about 2 others, both Bissell but I can tell the designers really listen to customers by the way this unit is designed. I can actually feel the suction on the vac to the carpet when I clean. The hose is much easier to use and put away for those spot jobs (like couch arm rests) and the front lift handle bar is back. Perfect for lifting over the garage door to house threshold. I do with the trigger for spray was a bit further back as there IS quite a lot of suction and your hand tends to slide to the back of the handle but suction is really what you want. I also love the 2 rows of cleaning bristles and the easy flip, flip to remove the top bristle cover for easy unit cleaning. Nothing worse than putting away your wet vac with dirty brushes. I would and already have recommended this to neighbors

Free at Last from dirty corpets

I used to own one of those dinky machine that did a poor job cleaning my carpets. Then I would go to the super market to rent those heavy machines. I would hare carpets cleaning services. They never really took the time to do the job right. The Proheat machine to my delight, did an amazing job on stains and deep down worn areas. The heat and those rows of brushes made a big difference. The two in one tank was so convenient. Easy to set up and easy to clean. Now that I have the Preheat, I am forever free of these headaches.
