I've been looking for a carpet cleaner that will get the most dirtiest carpets clean, and this was it! My husband would track in muddy boot foot prints and our dogs would just track in so much mud it was ridiculous! Hated walking into our living room and seeing nothing but dirty carpets! Got this monster, and oh my goodness, I wanted to cry after I was done. My carpet has never looked this good! It's beautiful and I even look forward to cleaning it again the next time it gets dirty. It holds a lot of water which is perfect because you're not running to the sink every two seconds. And the hose? Amazing, those tiny hard to reach places, got them with no problem. I'll be doing my couches next with this baby. Would recommend it highly!!

This is the second or third Bissell ProHeat 2x Carpet cleaner I've owned. On this model, the cleaning solution is mixed straight into the water inside the clear bladder instead of mixed on-demand via a separate tank, as was the case with previous models. I find it difficult to mix the exact right amount of cleaning solution I need, but any leftover pre-mixed solution can easily be stored in a separate container if desired. Overall I like this design change. This model also allows for the removal of the plastic chassis surrounding the cleaning bristles, which can accumulate hair, carpet fibers, etc, for easy cleaning. I really like this feature! By removing the chassis I can clean the machine after each use, keeping the machine in optimal working order and (hopefully) cleaning my carpets for many years to come.
