Purchased this machine a couple of months ago and have used it on three different kinds of carpet throughout my house. I have found that it snagged two of the three knaps and I attempted to contact the customer service and have yet to get a resolution. So I use my old Hoover on those two carpets and this Bissell on the other. It works really well on this one carpet and I am pleased. I just wish customer service was better about resolving concerns from customers. That is one reason I changed brands is because Hoover has a terrible customer service department. This machine is so easy to clean too. I love how the brushes come off so you can clean them.

I love this product. It works awesome. I have a healthy, very old (23 year old), 3 legged cat that tries very hard to get to the kitty litter box and at times he just umm well he fails to make it. I have no problems with getting the stains up providing that I use the pretreat cleaner. I first run the machine in one direction (going in circles) I prefer to let the cleaning solution set a bit. After a few minutes I then clean according to the directions; this for me works fantastic. I do wish the cord was longer and I do wish this product had a separate cleaning solution tank. I also use the carpet cleaner on my tile floor and it works awesome. I clean the tile just like I clean the carpet. In the bathroom around the toilet I can't get the machine between the tub and toilet so I use the upholstery cleaner attachment and it works perfect.

Oh how I love my New Deep Premier carpert cleaner, very easy to use. We have 2 cats and white carpets, and they are always vomiting and i'm forever spot cleaning our carpets. I wanted something that was easy to use and I cleaned 2 bedrooms the night it was delivered and WOW carperts were like brand new. I would reccommend to anyone. Thank You Bissell Family for making such wonderful products.

This is my 3rd Bissell carpet cleaner and I could NOT be happier with the performance of the Premier Deep Clean machine. My previous Bissell lasted over 20 years and I have another machine that is over 15 years old and going strong (I live at 2 different residences). This new machine is even better at sucking up the water and getting out the dirt. I did some area rugs and they came out so dry that the bottom of the rug was not wet after passing over it two times. This machine is far superior to the Hoover that I bought and returned because it took a PhD to assemble and the system looked difficult to use. So I am a Bissell fan.......

Heavy but does the job!

The Bissell DeepClean Premier is a very good product. It is heavy though. I used it on a great deal of carpeting and pushing it back and forth wore me out. I also had trouble keeping the the hose with the attachment on the machine. It fell off a lot, and it was frustrating to have to keep stopping to put it back on. It does hold a lot of water and that makes it easier to shampoo a large area before you need to empty it. I had some trouble with it leaking, but realized that there is a cap under the water holding tank that you need to make sure is screwed on tight. It was worth the money. It is a real heavy duty machine. It is also a lot easier to clean when you are finished using it than my previous Bissell shampooer.

Poor Tank Assembly - Breaks Easily Within Months and No...

I purchased this cleaner within 6-12 months and was disappointed that the tank assembly clip (clear attachment) to hold on the tank link broke attempting to refill the product. After using the product the less than 10 times I would not expect this to happen. I was able to locate the product on Bissell.com but found out that a replacement was almost a 1/3 of the cost of a new cleaner and were out of stock. Now I just have an expensive coat rack...

Make sure you Vacum before hand

I puchased one of these units to clean up my light colored carpets in my home. I have two Jack Russell Terriers and they occasionally have urine accidents. The dirt was collecting in the urine stains no matter how well I hand cleaned the stains. I was thinking of replacing the wall to wall carpets. This machines did a great job on revitalizing my carpets. My neighbor actually thought I replaced one of the carpets they got so clean!!! It will amaze you the color of the water that is sucked back up into the machine(gross) when you dump it......My only reccommendation is really vacum your carpets before deep cleaning them. This machine goes deep into your carpet and pulls all kinds of lint, pet hair and dirt.Really vacum it and let the mahine do the work. A+ product
