Just purchased the V machine for a Christmas gift in November 2013 and I already had a K machine. The V machine is obsolete already!! One can not purchase the pods in stores!! Who wants to give this expensive of gift and their loved one can't purchase coffee for the machine!! I would love it if the company would trade me for a K machine for my V machine. I wanted the froth machine for my loved one, but what I received was a headache of always having to purchase the cups on-line and that is not what I wanted. Would not recommend this for anyone!! Convenience is what the machine was suppose to be; especially after paying a higher price for the V cup vs. the K cup machine. Wished I would have purchased differently!!

Vue packs are extremely difficult to find. Online purchase seems to be the only way. No adaptor available to use regular coffee. Had I know any of this I would not have purchased this product.

DOESN'T LIVE UP TO THE HYPE

Bought the V500 on Sunday. Am returning it. Bought it for two reasons. The Vue advertises frothy AND hot beverages. One of the problems with the old K cup model is that the coffee isn't hot. Supposedly, the Vue makes hotter coffee. Not true. I have to zap it in the micro wave to get it hot enough to drink. To get the froth you need the special cafe cups and it is a nuisance 2 step process. Everything else is fine. Coffee tastes great and the process is convenient.

Brewing into cold mugs can drain the heat from your beverage. Try warming your mugs up first with hot water or a cleansing brew.

First Experience with Keurig

This is my first Keurig and I have wanted one for a while so I was ecstatic when I received one for Christmas. I love the ease of brewing one cup of coffee vs. dealing with an entire pot. I have found that brewing a larger cup does reduce the strength of the coffee unless you specifically purchase the travel size coffee. I have only tried the sample of the hot chocolate but it was watered down. We did brew it at 10 oz. rather than 8 which could have been the problem. I have been given several boxes of K-cups by family members only to have to return them. I have been to several stores with very few options for purchasing v-cups so I had to order them online which I don't like. It would be wonderful if there were some option to be able to use the regular k-cup and also to use regular coffee.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast
Cons: Availability Of V-cups, Larger Sizes Not Strong, Variety Of V-cups

Ugh!

The coffee and tea made in this coffee maker are horrible. The coffee is very acid and bitter (I tried several different varieties in the sample box included with your coffee maker. The tea has a very gross taste. I am returning this as soon as possible. Back to my old coffee maker. What a mistake this purchase was.
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste

I purchased this item knowing I wanted a Keurig single brew-type machine rather than brew full or half-pots of coffee. However, after receiving it and using all the Vue cups provided with purchase (now after the 30 day return policy), could not find a local store (including Walmart) that carried the brew cups. I was also very dissappointed it didn't come with a brew cup that I can use my own coffee and can't locate those either. I boxed this back up and it just sits.

Frustrated...Pods availability in stores

I love the ease of making just one cup of coffee or tea and doing it so quickly. However, I assumed that I could purchase the pods as easily as the K-cup pods and not so. I have gone to every store in my area and not one place sells the Vue pods. I am not willing to rely solely on purchasing online and therefore, I have packed this beautiful brewer to return to the store. Had I known that the pods were not interchangeable with the K-cup pods, I would have not bought it.
Cons: Can't Find Vue Coffee Pod

Nice system, poor quality

Like the machine and the coffee it produces, WHEN it produces !! On our third machine after only two months ! Each time the pump got weak then failed ! Crossing our fingers that the third times the charm !
Pros: Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Not Bitter
