Too expensive for a large cup of coffee

I like how im able to brew a larger size, BUT you have to use two pods, which is VERRY expensive. its cheaper to go to a major coffee house. Also hard to find V-cups ANYWHERE. limited selection of flavors.

Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity

I had the vue for less than a month and it was leaking. I would brew a cup of coffee and my counter would end up with a little puddle of coffee in front of it. I called, and customer service was AWESOME, and got me a new vue within the week. Sadly, the 2nd one I got is squeaking and only runs 3 ounces of water when I try to brew an 8 ounce cup of coffee. I called them back, and again so thankful for the awesome customer service they were going to send me ANOTHER vue! I was so thankful but asked for a K-cup brewer of equal value because I was having so much trouble. So.....even though I would not recommend the vue machine, I would say that if you buy something from Keurig the customer service is awesome if you have a problem!

You cannot find the coffee only a few places in our area.I would love to have the other one but looks like I am stuck with this paid to much for it I would not buy this machine again.

Stick with Keurig K Cup Machines....

I have had my Keurig Vue 500 since Christmas I thought I was upgrading from the KCup system however this thing is a waste of money. You can't find very many of Vue cups in the stores. The worse is that my machine doesn't work most of the time. I purchased the cup holder so the I could use the Kcups in the Vue 500 like the sells person had told me. The Kcups are always getting stuck in the machine. If you use a coffee kcup the grounds get all over inside & out. Now I have a expenses Keurig sitting on my counter that I can't even use. I truly wish that I would have never bought the Vue 500 system and just stayed with my old Kcup system.

Good not great

Small on the resevoir side. Makes good coffee. The Cafe Latte and Hot Coco recommended settings are too sweet so just up the water from 8oz to 10oz. Getting the aweful plastic taste out of the coffee takes about a week. Turn up the temp and run about 6 reservoirs of water through it before you waste a Vue Cup.
Pros: Not Bitter, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Roast

Way better than the k-cup machine

I have really liked this machine overall, there have been zero brewing issues unlike I had with the previous k-cup brewer. The same coffee in the vue cups taste much better as well, compared to the k-cup versions. My biggest gripes are with the reservoir and the height of the machine. It seems like I am constantly filling the machine with water. The design of the unit really takes away from the reservoir capacity. It would be nice to either make the reservoir wider or offer a larger version to buy separately. The nice thing about the vue brewer is that it offers more bang for the buck with both the standard size cups and mug sized cups but most of my mugs do not fit under the brewer. After dealing with hanging the unit half off the counter or sitting it on something so I could fit the mugs under it I finally made a real riser block to put under the machine but this should have been thought of design wise especially since the machine and cups were meant to brew into mugs. Again I am very pleased over all and since making a riser block it's just the reservoir capacity that is a bit underwhelming. Bob

I used this system approx 3 to 4 times and then went power on the unit by pushing the on/off button. The unit began steam uncontrollably without any warning. It got so hot that the unit seamed to overheat the digital control panel causing it, making the unit inoperable to use. After calling customer service the first of several times, they sent me another unit at no charge. After just a couple uses of the new unit, it too began to steam uncontrollably after just turning the unit on until the same thing happen. Now after calling the customer service department again they wanted to send out another unit at no charge. Unfortunately I have become dissatisfied with their product and wanted a refund. I was told that there corporate office would contact me within 24 to 48 hours. This came and went three times. At this point after two weeks of phone games I am still waiting. There customer service is very poor from their upper management level.

I do love my Keurig Vue 500 but am really disappointed that it doesn't use the easier found and cheaper K-cup. I have an adaptor with a filter but it's inconvenient to have to pour the coffee from the cup into the adaptor and then have to wash grounds out of the adaptor. really defeats the purpose.
