I had the K-cup one for years and while the selection is greater, the Vue has so many more pros! It's amazing that they're about the same price but you get much more.
There are so many great things about this machine I don't even know where to start! I started with the k-cup and when ours broke, I read the differences between the two. This does everything and then some that the k-cup can and its the same price / cheaper! I loved it so much, I just bought my mom one to upgrade her current k-cup machine which broke! Cannot say enough good things about this!
Cons: Small Selection Of Teas, No Tazo Teas, Limited V Pack Selections
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use it every day and love it. It is perfect for me as I like a quick cup of coffee in the morning. There isn't a very big selection of pods in the stores were I live.
Pros: Perfect for early morning, Pleasing Aroma
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as great as we thought

Bought in December. Great variety of samples to try. Excited about the recyclability of the k ups for the Vue. But those I believe are measured for a specific size cup. Either way, if you want to fill a travel mug, they don't fit. We have to put it in a regular size coffee mug, pour into the travel mug and start over agin - and if you want really great taste you have to use more than 1 k cup. Better to just use a regular coffee maker and buy your own flavors. Might be cheaper. Than to top it off, the less than 2 monts of having it, the measuring function doesn't work now. Keurig, a great idea but not as great as everyone says they are - in my opinion.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had it for 10 months

We bought this as a wedding present to ourselves. We've had it for nine months. I like the strong setting. Putting it on 6 oz. on strong makes one great cup of coffee for you espresso users out there. The cups are more money. So we bought a Solo cup for $20 and have more than gotten our monies worth out of it. A good tip is to use only filtered water that way you don't have to clean it very often.
I use the coffee maker each morning before I go to work. I have had two units, and so far, both of them have had the water pump quit working within a 2 month period of ownership. I sent back the first one and it was replaced--the second one has started the same problem. This time they say that they will replace the unit, but that I only need to return the brew head(??). Maybe they have found a problem--I have seen several other comments regarding the water pump. Hopefully they have fixed whatever the issue is. Have had no problem with customer service--they have been very kind and responsive.
Pros: Smooth Taste, Not Bitter
I would recommend this to a friend!
