Bought to get back in shape for rowing this Spring. This is the perfect machine so far. It feels very close to my boat and allows a great workout. Very durable and folds fairly easily to save space. Given the number of machines on the market, I feel fortunate to have selected this great unit.

Meets my expectations and then some

I've had my rower for about four weeks now, and I am more than happy with it.
My favorite feature is the one that allows you to program your own course. You can program up to four into the machine and it retains them. If you think you have mastered or gone beyond one of your self-programs, they can be changed. Brilliant feature.
There are six programs set ahead of time for you, as well as a program that basically allows you to do your own speed at a consistent resistance level. A final item allows you to check your fitness level by measuring your pulse recovery.
There are various levels of resistance that can stay the same or change through the course of routines. They also allow you to go for speed or strength, or a little of both, which is nice.
Assembly was easy, though I would have liked some more specifics on a couple of the nuts and bolts. The rower stores easily as well.
Before I purchased the programmable Magnetic Rower, I read some complaints in the comfort of the seat. I adjust my position early in the course of a routine and that seems to help. After 20 minutes on the seat, there is a slight feeling of a need to adjust, but, for me, no real discomfort.
Overall, very pleased with the purchase. I found a good deal, and this was on my top three rowers to get. I jumped on it, and it seems to have worked out fine.

Did a lot of reading and research before I decided to go with this rower and it hasn't disappointed. It's quiet and compact. Easy assembly, I was able to assemble on my own in about a half hour.

I think this rowing machine is the perfect mixture of quality and value. Sure, there are more expensive rowing machines that will give you a more authentic rowing experience, but these are only necessary if you training to become a competitive rower. I am not, and so what I need from a machine is that 1) is well-built and durable, 2) offers a variable range of resistance, 3) has a useful on-board computer. This machine meets all those three requirements, and it is the most competitively priced unit that offers these features. I've been using it regularly for 3 months now and I am happy with its durability. I can get a quality workout with this machine - it does a great job elevating my heart rate and I am happy with the upper levels of resistance I could get. The programmable magnetic resistance is where the value and utility of this machine really come alive. You can set the duration of your workout and As a bonus, it was extremely easy to install, and it folds up easily to minimize the floor space it needs. My biggest criticism of the unit is the heart rate monitor, which I've found to be unreliable - it is hard to get a consistent reading, but to be fair, I have not explored any gels or lubricants which could help improve the sensor's ability to read my heart rate.

Exactly what I wanted and exactly what is described. Solid construction and fluid motion. The seat is actually comfortable and the readout is excellent. Cannot imagine getting a better workout. Even at the lowest setting it can get you pumped. Assembly is quick and easy with clear instructions. It actually is a great looking piece and can store relatively easily. Very happy with this product, its action and it's quality. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a solid rower.
