We love our GE Microwave Oven. This is our second one. The other just like this one, we just wore it out from use. I hope they continue to keep this model. It has so many good features and settings.

New Microwave GE profile

We love the GE Profile line of appliances.♥️This is our second microwave convection oven after 16 years. It perfectly cooks vegetables every time! The only reason that we give this microwave is a design flaw. Our old GE profile had a rotating dial to choose what items you were cooking. It was very convenient. With this model you must choose from a minute legend inside, or memorize that vegetables are “SC 2”. We didn’t have a microwave for almost 3 months, and are extremely happy with our purchase! I was burning rice on the stove and now it’s cooked to perfection because we have our GE Profile microwave again! :)

i wanted a microwave/convection oven for it's versatility. we had one just like this but it failed after 3 years. we went ahead and purchased another one anyway.

We purchased this to replace a 15 year old GE built-in model. So far, we are pleased with the features and performance, including the convection cooking. Very happy with the 30 second add on and popcorn features. The only downside is the glass in the door is too dark making it difficult to see what is cooking inside.

Swapped out a 10 year old GE Profile for this one. Features, etc are the same with the exception that this unit takes 50-75% longer to heat something. For example, the pop corn button on the old one-perfect. Pop corn button on this one-useless. In the

I had a 1994 Profile microwave oven that came with the new house. It didn't have a removable turntable and convection cooking but it was doing great for all these years until today. It was replaced because I am updating my kitchen appliances. The new microwave oven has convection cooking that my wife always wants. It fits into the cutout just like the old one. It is powerful and beautiful!

Hello,
Oh no! We're very sorry to hear that some parts of the touch pad are not working. We certainly understand how much of a pain that is and want to provide some troubleshooting tips.
If the microwave key panel is not responding or working properly, check the following:
Make sure that the microwave is plugged into a grounded outlet. It must be a 3-prong outlet. Make sure the clock is set. Check to see if a programming sequence was entered. Sometimes improper programming or a program sequence such as delay start can cause the touch panel to be non-responsive. Unplug microwave or turn off house circuit breaker for 30 seconds. Plug back in, or reset circuit breaker, and try reprogramming unit. Check the house circuit breaker. If the microwave is DEAD and there is no display and nothing works- the problem could be a blown fuse or tripped breaker.
