Great Kitchen Suite Addition

Installed as a replacement for 2005 model. A bit smaller in size but has added features our last Convection Microwave did not have. Great that it comes complete with 2 baking racks. Although we had space for a larger microwave, we had grown very reliant on the convection feature, especially in summer months or when cooking a single meal. So we were more than comfortable trading off size for features. We gained a much more stream like look and this also has a broiling element!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just Delivered and Installed. Metal Skin loose

This was delivered and installed 2 days ago. Its a very nice unit and works great....however..... the thin metal skin around the door open button is peeling off. I do not know if I should use some super glue to make it stick??? What kind of worksmanship is this GE?

Turntable and Heating Issues Already

Just like the other review....turn table not turning and microwave doesn't heat. Definitely not expected after such a short time of use.

Failed after 3 years

Brand new installed in 2018. But the control panel failed after just 3 years. Some of buttons on the control panel do not respond when pressed; Not able to use this microwave anymore.

Poor Quality of parts - frequent breakdowns

This was installed in the beginning of 2018 and failed after a year just when the warranty was over. After repairs, it has failed again and this time it starts on closing the door and heats up the turntable and the controls don't work. An expensive appliance with poor quality of parts, even the GE technician was surprised when he came to repair the first time and commented he has never seen such poor quality before...

Very disappointed in this microwave

This microwave was put into remodeled kitchen and less than 3 years later it is broken. It just doesn't get hot anymore. It is built in above my oven and going to be a pain to replace. Very disappointed that is didn't last longer.

Replaced 15+ year GE Profile Micro/Convection Oven

This replaced the GE built in microwave/convection oven that previous owners had put in over 15 years ago. The sensor in the old one was going out so we opted to update to a similar model since it had lasted so long. We have had it for 1 year 8 months and it has stopped working. It will hummm off and on when door is closed, it won’t let buttons work, then buttons will work and it’ll start stop start stop then decide to work. It’s really sad with how expensive it is for it to be acting like it is so quickly.
