Had the same GE type that lasted 13 years .The one thing I miss is the reheat !

I bought this item 2 days ago. The manual for the operation of the microwave is poorly detailed and is complicated. I am now sorry I purchased the microwave. Had I not used it I would return it.

Great oven

Automatic features have too few food choices.

There is no "reheat" option as there was with previous models. There is no "baked goods" choice for auto defrost, only meat, poultry, fish.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got my counter top back. Moved convection toaster and microwave to a rental property replaced them with this unit. Toasted my bagel and warmed up my coffee. Can't wait to try roasting a chicken.

Capacity is misstatded

I bought this microwave/convection on line to replace an old GE microwave/convection that is working fine but the door broke and can not be replaced.
This one is advertised as a 1.5 Cubic foot. well to my disappointment it is not! The cavity measures 9.25" H X 15.5" W X 15" deep. If you do the math it is 1.25 Cubic feet.
The measurements on the old one are 11" H X 15.5 W X 15" deep.
The new one looks so puny.
I am highly disappointed.

Bought this to replace a previous GE micro/convection oven that we loved & had for 14 years. This new one is so different. It feels cheap, cooks inconsistently and we are disappointed in its overall quality. Would like to return it, but had it installed in cabinet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
