Does not last long

We have had this microwave for approximately 2 years and the popcorn button and add 30 seconds button no longer work. It will also randomly report a power failure PF during heating. It will cut off and then come back on. We had an electrician check and it seems to be microwave. Disappointed that this appliance was so expensive and only lasted 2 years. Hesitant to purchase another GE microwave due to quality concerns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re sorry to hear those buttons are no longer working, and you’re experiencing a failure during heating. We’d like to assist. We recommend disconnecting the appliance from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. For the PF error, you may see this when power has been restored after a power failure, and it can usually be canceled by using the Cancel/Off pad.

GE appliances are less durable

Looks nice, doesn't work for very long.

Well, it looks nice and it worked for about 3.5 years. Then the panel display went out, leaving us with three buttons that worked - +30 Seconds, 1 Min., and Cancel buttons. We nursed that along for as long as we could. Yesterday, it stopped heating the food (still turns on, but doesn't rotate or heat). For the price, I thought it would be longer lasting.

Bought the profile built in microwave with a kitchen and wash room remodel which included other profile appliances including range top, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer & dryer we did less than 3 years ago.. The microwave has had several problems and now won't work again.

Mismatched lighting in the GE Profile series

Disappointed. Note that the lights on this GE Profile microwave are green whereas my brand new GE profile oven and French door refrigerator lighting is light blue. Looks like I did a mix and match for appliances. Why wouldn’t lighting in the series all be the same? Feel like I wasted my money. If we had known I would have chosen a different product.

All appliances are horrible. I’ve only lived in my house 4 years and we have had problems with every appliance no joke!!
