Sad it only lasted 2yrs

We installed this microwave in 10/21 and have loved it until a month ago. The display is not functioning fully and now some of the Keys on the keyboard aren’t working and we noticed every day or so another stops working. We have owned GE products for many years and still have our Refrigerator, washer, dryer, Oven, Convection cook top and dishwasher with minimal issues. This is upsetting because for the price we paid we expected more from this unit!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Website on par with product quality

Your website works about as good as your microwaves, I have tried twice to submit a review and twice to order a part that I need to repair a unit that has been in service a year and a half. Site keeps crashing after i enter CC info.

Bad installation of insulation

The actual appliance works great at both microwaving and baking, but after only a couple years owning it, the insulation in the door has come out of the corner so it doesn’t look nice anymore.

Features good but disappointed with quality

Features and functionality are good but disappointed with quality. Unit arrived with a dent and upper left hand corner and oven door slightly out of alignment. There was no damage apparent from shipping so I’m assuming it must have been dropped or otherwise damaged at factory prior to packaging for delivery. I opted not to return as unit was needed to support holiday cooking for visiting family and there was not enough time to get a replacement or refund. Also disappointed that GE not longer produces the 2.1 cf model in a stainless steel finish. Would have preferred to replace the unit that failed (6 years old) with an identical size and finish but was unable to because they no longer offer that model.

We needed a MW to fit into an existing space- this was what fit. Don't know if I'll be happy with it but the trim kit that came with it is flimsy.
