Great looking unit. Worked as expected however after limited use and not being very old, the display has dead pixels and some of the touch pads do not work. This makes it difficult to set proper cook times and temperatures. We own ge profile bui.t in fridge, ge mo ogram stove and ge double oven which are much older and have had zero issues with them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked as expected however after 3 years use, the display has dead pixels and some of the touch pads do not work. This makes it difficult to set proper cook times and temperatures. Never really used the convection features. Oven right below, why clean two appliances.

Great features, cooks well

Microwave is wonderful, except for the control panel. It gave out after 5 years and we couldn't just replace the panel. It's such a good microwave that we purchased another. I would definitely get the extended warranty, just in case. Other microwaves just don't have the features this GE Profile has.

Keypad poor quality

The keypad has a bad 7 to 9 row which I just found. Guess I will be working the warranty tomorrow.

Control Panel Issues

Good looking microwave and I like some of the functions...while it worked. As many other reviewers mentioned - the control panel stopped working. It started with one button, then another. Eventually they all died. I unplugged it and plugged it back in which helped reboot a few of them but basically I figure I need to replace the control panel and/or get a new one. Of course, I can't get the thing off so...who knows. I wouldn't recommend this - seems like a hassle for a pretty new microwave.

Sad it only lasted 2yrs

We installed this microwave in 10/21 and have loved it until a month ago. The display is not functioning fully and now some of the Keys on the keyboard aren’t working and we noticed every day or so another stops working. We have owned GE products for many years and still have our Refrigerator, washer, dryer, Oven, Convection cook top and dishwasher with minimal issues. This is upsetting because for the price we paid we expected more from this unit!

Website on par with product quality

Your website works about as good as your microwaves, I have tried twice to submit a review and twice to order a part that I need to repair a unit that has been in service a year and a half. Site keeps crashing after i enter CC info.

Bad installation of insulation

The actual appliance works great at both microwaving and baking, but after only a couple years owning it, the insulation in the door has come out of the corner so it doesn’t look nice anymore.
