Worked well for about 5 years, then issues - done

We purchased this when we remodeled our entire kitchen about 5.5 years ago. Until recently, we hadn't had many issues with it - the occasional issue, but it comes with any appliance. We loved the convection oven portion of it and we do use the microwave fairly often. About a month ago, the turntable was staying on and would randomly stop. Now, it won't work at all. Power is on to it, light comes on, but heating element won't turn on AND the turntable totally stopped now. We went with higher Profile product in hopes to not have to worry about this (it's in a built-in and now we are struggling with very similar dimensions for another product). Very unhappy with how this has stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this oven to replace an earlier version of a Profile Microwave/Convection one that we'd happily used for years. THIS one is a dud as far as we're concerned. You took away some of the simplest functionality keys (bake, defrost, etc) and created a process requiring WAY too many steps. A major design flaw is that the keypad is not backlit. We can barely see it and in fact, ended up attaching a book reading light to our cabinet so we CAN see it. IF you can successfully navigate the steps to microwave/defrost, it works fine. The Bake keys give me a headache. After this experience, I'll never buy another Profile Microwave/Convection.

An Excellent Product

We bought this microwave oven to replace an older GE model which finally reached the end of its useful life. We have had this new microwave for about a month and so far are pleased with it. It offers three different cooking modes: microwave, convection and a combination of the two so it is quite versatile. The controls are straightforward and easy to use. I would buy this product again if the need arose.

Fine as a microwave, slow as an oven

The microwave is a microwave. Works fine. The convection oven takes *forever* to heat up. We've used a countertop combination toaster/convection oven/air fryer for years that heats up so quickly that you can basically ignore the pre-heat time. Granted, it's a smaller volume, but not by much. But this oven takes as long as a full sized oven to get hot, despite being 1/3rd the size. It's not really worth the added expense and complication over a normal microwave. (It also doesn't light up inside that I can find).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WAY TOO COSTLY FOR 2 YEARS OF SERVICE. CONTACTED REPAIRMAN AND
WAS TOLD TO REPLACE MICROWAVE, PARTS WOULD BE OVER HALF OF WHAT
I PAID FOR THE MICROWAVE. ALSO, SEEMS TO BE AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH
THE TOUCH PAD.
